"In the begging there was nothing so empty in this space between,
And you came in turned the lights on and created what its came to be,
Before I pluck your wings cover me please, Spread your wings cover me and,
Promise this....."
Emma switched on the light switch to the old music class room and stood with her back to the door.
"I'll be there for you no matter what Regina" A familiar voice said from the back of the room, a girl stood with long blonde hair and deep brown eyes. Regina still sat crying with her head against the old rustic desk, Emma walked over from behind and motioned for her to turn around.
Emma spoke "Hey Regina, I know were not the best of friends but I'm here for you right, you know that?" Regina turned her head to look at Emma as they sat alone in a empty class room.
"I'm not what they all think I am Emma, I swear. I'm not a monster! I'm not the person they... Why am I telling you about this anyway? You don't care" Regina sighed.
"Regina! I do care, I see the best in you... I see that innocent little girl who was just misunderstood, nobody will ever understand if they don't give you a chance. Your nothing less that they are, your a Queen!" Regina let out a light laugh. "I've never seen anyone so enthusiastic about anything in a long time" Regina laughed. "I believe in you i know that may be hard to believe but I do... Now get up and wipe those tears away and go show everyone the Queen you are."
Regina stood from her chair and wiped away the tears that we're still trickling from her eyes, pushed her chair in and stood straight, she began to walk along side Emma stopping at the door puffing out her chest and putting on a brave face, and smiled as she walked down through the door and down the corridor. Crowds of students gathered by the lockers staring and smirking at her as she made her way through the corridor to her locker. She grabbed her bag from the back of her locker full of books shut the locker door and left the school walking towards her car. As she pointed the key towards her Black VW Emma shouted from across the car park.
"Regina!" She waved. "Do you want to meet up for a coffee sometime this weekend?" Regina smiled. "I'll take that as a yes? Lunch at Grannies tomorrow! See you there!"
Regina giggled as she stepped into her car, this was the first time she'd smiled since starting the school year. And she looked better than ever, no outfit is complete without a smile. She drove down the school drive and looked forward for the next day.

Regina got back from school and went straight to her room, jumped into the shower and spent some time just thinking over what a strange day she had. After spending ten minutes in the shower she got out and rapped a tower round her hair then made her way into the bed room where she flopped onto the bed and fell asleep.
She woke up over an hour later to a shouting noise from down the stairs rapped in only a towel layed across the bed, she rolled over grabbed a silk dressing gown that hung on the door of the wardrobe and ran to the top of the stairs where she just paused. A women stood at the door in all red attire and brown hair tied up in a bun. "Mother what are you doing here?! You think after all you have done to me you can just turn up on my doorstep?"
Cora smirked.
"You know what I don't even want to know what your doing here you can just leave, today I finally started to get my life back on track, and I don't want you interfering and making me feel worse than I already do!" Regina stood and watched her mother leave the house, and then turned to go back to her room. "Regina...." A brisk voice spoke from the bottle of the stairs. "Thank you!" Her father spoke. "For everything!" She smiled and walked up the stairs, Regina skipped tea that day and went straight back to her room and slept waited for tomorrow to come.
An escape from reality...
