They alternated racing each other until the the sun started to set. Skylar ended up losing to Letty twice but won three times. She lost against Brian once but to Dom and Letty it looked like a pity win.

"Seems you're already use to the car," Dom said to Skylar as Brian left.

Skylar shrugged her shoulders, "I was worried most about working out my timing with the shifting and nos.

Dom nodded then looked at Letty, "Ready to move out?"

Letty nodded, "Ready when you are Papi."

As they climbed into their cars Dom called Mia.

"Thought we'd stop by. Wanted to see Jack," Dom nodded his head and laughed, "Yeah that too. Be there in twenty minutes."

Dom got into the car with Skylar causing her to roll her eyes.

"Not taking any chances," he said seeing her roll her eyes, "Ya know there are times we lose you."

"I'm driving a different vehicle Dom. I highly doubt he'd know it was me even if he was around," she said following Letty.

"Just humor me for now at least," he said leaning back in the seat growing silent as she drove.

Letty didn't drive like she did on the way there. She wasn't sure if it was because she didn't want to or because they were following Brian or what. The thought of Brian caused a small smile to spread on her lips. She beat him all but once but it was only because she didn't want to make him feel bad so she purposefully hit her nos too early. The smile quickly faded as she thought about the message from Nick. Could he actually find her? The thought sent shivers down her spine as she turned around a corner.

Dom said that he wouldn't let it happen but could he honestly protect her from him? What if he brought along his friends? This caused another shiver to pass through her body.

Mike and John weren't the kind of guys to mess with. They were huge and she was actually more scared of them than of Nick. If Nick was the brains those guys were definitely the muscle. They were just as big if not slightly bigger that Dom. She didn't want to see him getting hurt and was beginning to think that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to come here. She'd already lost her mom; she didn't want to lose him too.

"Skylar," she heard Dom say loudly causing her to jump.

"Yesh don't do that," she said glancing at him.

"I've been trying to get your attention for five minutes. You missed the turn back there."

"Oh crap my bad," she said realizing that Letty wasn't in front of them.

"Just take a right at this light and I'll get us back on track," he said watching her, "You alright? You seemed kinda out of it."

She nodded her head quickly, "I'm fine."

Dom narrowed his eyes at her, "I'm not stupid."

"I've already lost Mom and I don't wanna see nothing happen to you," she said softly.

Dom motioned for her to take another right, "You don't have to worry; I can handle myself against that little-"

"What if he doesn't come alone? He has two guys that he usually brings with him when shit's about to go down."

"You honestly think I'd go alone? Guys like that always fight dirty. Brian's always had my back and Roman doesn't mind getting his hands dirty if there's money involved."

"I worry," she said noticing Letty's car parked on the sidewalk of a cute little blue two story house and parked behind her.

"You're just like your mom; always worrying and thinking about anything and everything that could go wrong. I said I won't let anything happen to you and I meant it Skylar."
