Skylar noticed that everyone had started to clean up the house and started to pitch in.

"You don't have to help," Mia said as Skylark picked up a couple beer bottles and tossed them in the trash bag she was holding, "I know you're probably exhausted."

"I'm not any more tired than those two," she said nodding at Dom and Letty, "Besides I live here too now so I might as well help."

Mia nodded as Skylar continued to pick up. Once her bag was full she looked around seeing that the house was picked up and that Dom and Brian were missing. Letty saw her looking around and walked up to her.

"They went out back to take the trash to the dumpster," she said, "You can set the bag by the door and they'll take it out to the dumpster."

Skylar nodded doing as she was asked, washed her hands then sat down on the couch. She didn't realize how tired she was until she sat down her eyes started to close and before she knew it she was asleep.

Dom came back inside washed his hands, went to the fridge reached in the back and pulled out a Corona then joined Letty and Mia at the table the small table they had in the kitchen.

"I thought you said we didn't have anymore," Mia said looking at Brian as he sat down beside her at the table.

"Figured Dom wanted everyone out so..." he said then shrugged.

"You were right," Dom said opening the beer bottle, "Did you win any races?"

"I always do," Brian said smirking.

"How much?"

"About eight. There was some kid passing through thinking he could beat me," Brian said.

Dom looked around noticing Skylar wasn't around and went to stand up.

"Easy Papi," Letty said placing a hand on his shoulder, "she's asleep on the couch."

"I told her she didn't have to help but she insisted," Mia said.

"So what made you bring her anyway?" Brian asked getting up and grabbing two Coronas from the fridge.

"She has a name," Mia said frowning slightly as Brian set one of the Coronas in front of her as he sat down.

"Her ex showed up after the funeral," Dom said causing Letty to roll her eyes at his lack of words.

"He showed up and grabbed Skylar," she said, "Dom was fixing to knock him out but Alicia stepped in threatening to call the cops on the kid if he didn't leave. Apparently, they had a restraining order on him."

"Sound like bad news," Brian said shaking his head.

"That's only the half of it," Dom said glancing into the living room, "Someone decided to shoot up the damn house a couple hours after it happened."

"What?" Mia said in shock, "No one got hurt right?"

"Not physically," Letty said then continued, "Alicia didn't say much just that Skylar fell into some bad company before she went away to school."

"Meaning that whatever we want to know, Skylar's gonna have to tell us herself," Dom said standing up.

"That's gonna take awhile," Letty said shaking her head.

"It could but ya never know," Dom said.

"I know stubborn Dom; I've lived with it the past ten years. And if she's half as stubborn as you then yeah it could take awhile."

Dom said nothing as a barely there smile curling his lips slightly.

"Guess we'll just have to wait and see," he said before leaving the kitchen.

Skylar had no clue where she was. The sun was bright as she walked along the sidewalk while she tried to figure out where she was. Then the sky went black as gunshot after gunshot went off followed by screaming. She tried to run toward the screaming but it felt like her legs were moving in slow motion. When she finally made it there, she couldn't believe her eyes as she stared down into the vacant dead eyes of Dom, Letty, Mia, and Brian. Her body shivered as cold fingers swept her hair off her neck.

"Told ya I'd see ya later," Nick said in almost a hiss as he whispered in her ear.
