Josh took my hand as we walked toward the stairs to my room, leaving Will alone, well in public. He looked a little upset that we had left him but he is the one who made it clear that we can't kiss in front of him and I was certainly planning on kissing Josh, so we just had to leave Will. Josh opened the door to my room while letting go of my hand and following in behind me. I stopped to turn around and look at Josh but he was already behind me wrapping his arms around my waist. I leaned into him and he kissed my cheek, leaning away to flash his cute smile at me. "Josh, I really did want to ask you something. It's kind of important, to me at least." he let go of me almost immediately and spun me around so that we were facing each other. "What is it? You can ask me anything Claire, anything really." his thumb brushed across my cheek as a look of concern lit up his face. I could tell that he was nervous about my question, but he didn't need to be. "Well, I was just wondering, you never really asked me out and we've practically been dating so, I mean, are you my boyfriend and were a couple or....?" he seemed relieved as I spoke realizing that I wasn't mad or upset but as soon as I finished he had a look of hurt on his face. "I'm so sorry Claire, I was so wrapped up in all of this that I completely forgot to ask you. You should've yelled at me for being so rude." he waited for my response looking into my eyes worriedly. "It's ok Josh, really don't worry about it." I looked down at my hands and fiddled with my fingers before feeling Josh's hand tilt my face up to look him in the eyes. "Well, I have a question to ask you too.." "What is it?" Josh wrapped his arms around my waist once again and smiled down at me. "Will you be my girlfriend Claire?" "Yes!" as soon as I said that we both stood there smiling at each other until Josh reached down to caress my face and then slowly kiss me.

I don't know how long we had been upstairs but it must have been a while because Will had come upstairs to check on us. Josh was seated at the end of my bed playing with a strand of my hair while I stood in between his legs. He was mumbling the words to a favorite song of his as if he were completely in his own little world. I just stood there studying his face, watching how peaceful he was at that moment and how happy he must of been. And that was when the crazy thing called Will entered my room, leaning against the wall looking like a little kid when they see someone kiss. "You guys are weird." he said, breaking Josh out of his cute little trance. "Um excuse me? Us, weird, have you seen yourself and how you act at any point?? I believe that you sir are the definition of weird." Josh looked up at me with his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Well thank you very much." Will said while looking at me with a smirk. "Would you just get out of my room? Please." "Fine fine, I'll leave. Be good you too!"

"Um, what was that all about?" Josh questioned me after Will decided to leave. "Will was just being his stupid self, are you alright?" he laughed as I said that, looking at me the whole time. Then he stopped for a moment to think about what I had asked. "Oh, yeah I'm fine. I was just thinking about some stuff." he smirked up at me and pulled me closer by my waist. I giggled and held onto his legs while he kept his arms around me. "Stuff like, how beautiful you are, how glad I am that I picked out that outfit for you and... how much I want to kiss you right now." I could feel my cheeks flush a bright red color as Josh displayed his cheeky smile. "Well I might let you kiss me.... if you watch a movie with me." I displayed my famous smirk before turning to run out the door and downstairs to the TV. Josh was caught a little off guard, staggering to keep up while laughing behind me. "Babe, slow down!" he called after me, but I was already seated on the floor putting in a movie by the time he had reached me. As soon as I had pressed play two large hands came down under my legs as I let out a small gasp and Josh raised me up in his arms.

"Don't do that again, I couldn't breathe trying to catch up with you!" he smiled at me, knowing that I was totally a pro at running (not). I mean, usually Josh catches up to me or at least passes me every time we race (or do pretty much anything), but this time I caught him off guard too much for him to be able to even catch up to me. "You're just jealous that I won before you even got to the bottom of the stairs!" I smirked again while trying to wiggle free of his strong hold on me, Josh seriously has too much muscle for me. "Mmmhmm, whatever you wanna think Claire." he flashed his infamous smile, knowing that I could never resist to smile back when he did it. He let go of me after trying to give me a peck on the cheek which I giggled and shied away from before wriggling out of his hold and dropping to the floor with the aid of Josh's large hands. Making my way over to the couch, I realized that the movie hadn't even started yet and that I had promised Josh that I would kiss him, so he had earned it, but I wanted to kiss him so it didn't matter much anyways. Josh jogged over to the couch and laid down length ways so that there was almost no room for me, then looked up and smiled at me while I crossed my arms, waiting for an explanation. "You can lay next to me, I'll scoot over, or you can just lay in my arms like last time." he said while reaching out to grab my hand and pull me over. I decided to take a seat next to him, laying down and cuddling into his warmth. I looked up at him in a frown when I saw that his bottom lip was stuck out in an attempt to pout. "What?" I asked him, running my thumb over his bottom lip. "You said that I could kiss you if I watched a movie with you, and I really want to kiss you." he kept his bottom lip out while trying to keep from smiling as I felt a blush creep onto my cheeks.

"Well we haven't even been down here that long and I was planning on kissing you as soon as I sat down." the pout he had displayed was gone and was quickly replaced with his cute dimpled smile. "Good." he said while grabbing my wrists to pull me up and then wrapping his arms around me. I reached up, caressing his face as he leaned down and smiled into the kiss. Only a second or two had gone by before I pulled away and turned around to watch the movie that had just started. Acting like my interests were all focused on the large TV screen and dodging Josh's pokes at my side it was hard as ever to not laugh or turn around to look at him.

My focus only lasted a mere 2 or 3 minutes before Josh made me giggle uncontrollably. "I knew you'd never last! I. Win." he chuckled before being shoved against the couch in a playful push. "Whatever." I muttered, trying not to laugh, again. This couch is too small for us, I thought before getting up to sit on my favorite plush chair. "Heyy.." Josh pouted as I walked away. "What did I do?" he said whilst sticking out his bottom lip to exaggerate the cute pouting face. "Nothing, that couch is just too small for me." now I don't even remember what movies' supposed to be playing, thanks to... "Babe I'm getting lonely over here... please?" he said, flailing his arms in the air at an attempt to show "loneliness". "Hmmm.." I mumbled, showing a teasing smile.

Josh continued to pout as I walked over to the kitchen to make popcorn. I waited for the annoying "beep" of the microwave to sound as I watched the movie from the kitchen; when my head turned slightly in Josh's direction my eyes landed on the beautiful figure that was now staring up at me, watching my every move intently. The dimpled smile that I have become to love stretched across his face when my eyes met his, the pout on his lips no longer there. "Beep!" Josh laughed as I practically jumped, almost knocking over a chair at the sound of the microwave signaling that my popcorn is done and most likely burnt by now. The familiar heat is burning in my cheeks making my embarrassment shine through, causing Josh to let out a low chuckle as I turn away to open the microwave.

Goodness this thing is scorching hot and of course half of the popcorn, if not all, is burnt. "Ugh, so much for that." I mumble, tossing the bag into the trash before walking back over to the living room. Plopping down on the couch next to Josh I am rewarded with a beautiful smile of his, forcing a smile to light up my face and leave me grinning like an idiot. "I thought it was 'too crowded' for you...?" he teases, poking at my side to emphasize the small amount of space between us. Caught off guard I stifle a laugh and poke his adorable dimples.
