"Me? I'm dishonest. And a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Trust me. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for, for you never know when they are going to do something incredibly stupid." - Jack Sparrow

"Heh, I don't think I'm dead yet..." A new voice entered. Shocked, all looked in the direction an were bewildered to see Leonardo looking good as new.

"LEO!!" Karai cried and threw herself over to him, hugging him. Leo smiled shyly and worriedly glanced at his younger brothers, who were in shock.

"Heh. Tough son'uvva bitch. Didn't think he'd be up yet." The doctor smirked and left the area to give the family some privacy.

Pretty soon, all of them were hugging Leo, most of them crying. Even Casey hugged him. Leo's brothers were crying while April shed a tear.

"We're so sorry!!" Donnie sobbed and squeezed Leo harder.

The said turtle was struggling to breathe. "G-guys! I c-can't breathe!" He squeaked and dramatically took in a mouthful of air when they reluctantly let go.

"Come on, sit." April smiled and lead him towards the fireplace the five were previously huddled around.

When Leo sat down, Mikey and Karai sat on each side and Raph and Donnie next to them. April and Casey were furthest.

"Leo, and Karai, where have you guys been?" April asked curiously, ignoring that now all eyes were on the said teens.

"We went to Salt Lake, stopping at random cities for a few days on the way." Karai explained for him, winking at the grateful smile she got.

"Meet anyone?" Mikey asked, still clinging to Leo's arm. It was a cute thug to see, saying that they were eighteen and all.

"Yeah. It, uh..." Leo tried to say before closing his eyes when a sad look made its way onto his face.

"Don't say." Raph said quickly and glared at Mikey, who gave a sheepish smile. "How'd you guys get here?"

"We just traveled, stopping or supplies at the minimum amount. It took about eight or nine months." Leo said and he and Karai smirked at their hocked expression. "What about you?"

"Well, we met someone else." Donnie said.

"Yeah! He's called Kahl." Mikey chirped.

"He went out for supplies, but didn't come back." Raph sighed grumpily.

"Didn't you go look for him?" Karai asked, a little mad.

"We did, but we never found him. Only his respirator." April defended.

"Yeah!" Casey yelled.

For the rest of the night, the teens continued to catch up ad share dark memories, forgetting that their father Hamato Yoshi had not returned.
