Raph was glaring at Karai and Leo, who in turn glared back, on the opposite side of the fireplace. Donnie, Mikey, Casey and April sat around the fire, making a wall so that the two sides wouldn't fight again. The three were littered in bruises and shallow cuts, but mostly Raphael.

Michelangelo suddenly grabbed a guitar from nowhere and started to tune it. He gave it a few strums before playing a song. The others watched in awe and interest.

April, Casey, Donnie, Raph, Karai and Leo smiled at Mikey and clapped. The said turtle smiled cutely and put his guitar down, standing up and performing a dramatic bow.

"I wanted to lift the mood!" He chirped, not ceasing to smile. The others laughed softly and Raph reluctantly opened an arm, Mikey immediately diving to him and hugging him when Raph wrapped it around the youngest brother.

Karai, heart warmed by the action, wrapped an arm around Leo and rested her cheek on his head, the said turtle rest his head on her shoulder.

Donnie and April joined in on Raph and Mikey's hug while Casey scooted closer and smiled softly. Leo was a little hurt at not being invited but quickly brushed it off, because he didn't blame them. He had ran away from them, he had hurt them. After all, he had Karai.

The eight ended up falling asleep around the fireplace, Karai and Leo on one side while the others were on the opposite.

While the others were fast asleep, just as most of the villages and civilians underneath the city, Leo shuffled away from Karai and gently laid her into the ground. He scooted away from her an laid in the corner, where the warmth didn't meet and where he lonely.

After a while, the young adult fallen asleep and had a vision, NOT A DREAM.

He found himself in a light blue, misty oblivion, inside a building made f black bricks. There was large pillars forming a circle and rising high, to meet a circled rooftop. There was no sound, no taste, to feel and no smell, except for the noise of his quiet breathing. There wasn't even an echo.

Leo felt a presence behind him and he whirled around to see the exact same Dark One that saves him, twice. They both stared at each other, just like they had earlier in the night.

"What are you?" He whispered cautious and warily. He didn't want to speak, it was nice to be in the silence.

The creature didn't answer, but many other Dark Ones entered the building, about five through each pillar. They all surrounded Leo, they all looked the same. Leo knew that the one who had saved him was the he had a connection.

All of the creatures stared at the turtle, who felt inferior, but safe. He somehow felt like he could close his eyes, fall and the Dark Ones would catch him.

"We do not have a name." The Dark One who saved Leo said. He sounded like he had two voices with an echo. Not human. Duh.

"Why did you save me?"

"..." The Dark One did not answer this time. It only sent him back to his realm, where he was awake.

Leo was shaken awake by an anxious Karai, the others were still asleep. She looked scared for him, worried.

"Leo, what were you doing on your own here?" She asked and Leo said nothing, only sat up and looked to the side. "Answer me."

"I wanted to be alone..." Leo muttered.

"Why?"

"Because nobody's gonna believe me."

"Believe what!?"

Leo hesitated before giving in to the urge to not tell. He felt even more like one of the Dark Ones, like family. He didn't know why.

"Nothing." Leo grumbled and started to walk away from the area. Karai growled and grabbed his wrist, preventing him from leaving.

"Leo. Don't. You. Dare." Karai muttered sternly and pulled him back.

"What?"

Karai glared at the ground and blushed furiously. She tightened her grip on his wrist and leaned forward a little. Karai blushed even more and pressed her lips to his.

She kissed him.
