"I can explain"

Four pairs of eyes were on me- tori,Krysta,Shawn and Nathan.

I know I said I could explain, but technically, I can't. I made a promise and I'm not planning to break that promise. I heard the bell ring. Saved by the bell. I got up quickly and ran to my next class. I heard someone calling my name but I kept running. There was nothing to explain anyway.  I sat down at my desk .

The bell rang. Finally, class is over. Now I can't wait to put algebra to good use in my life. Note the sarcasm.

I went outside to my car and sat down. I smiled thinking about how I actually have a chance at skipping school forever if I focus on my new acting career. Imagine me on the red carpet with, maybe Channing Tatum as my date.......a girl can only dream....
"Nessa!"

I can hear Taylor swift calling my name.

"Nessa!!!"

OK...that's too scary to be Taylor swift...
I felt someone shaking my hand.
"Krysta. Don't scare me like that"

"I wasn't the one staring into the air for ten years"

"What do you want Krysta"

"A ride" then she grinned.

"Come in"

I drove in the silence...which was uncomfortable by the way. I had to hurry. I couldn't miss being in the white house for so long.

"I need an explanation"

"For what"

"Where have you been? I came over yesterday and you weren't in. Do you know how worried you made us?"

I raised an eyebrow.
"Us?"

"Your brother and I"

"Sorry, mom"

"Where were you?"

"Out with my aunt"

"Where did you get the car"

"She lent me"

"Why are you in a Hurry"

Silence.
I stopped the car.

"We're at your place now. Bye"

She shook her head and left.

I got home. I entered the house. It was quiet.
"Finally. Where have you been"

"Its not your business, kyle"

I started up the stairs. He held my hands.
"You know well that its my business. You had me worried. I was thinking of calling mom and dad or telling the cops that you were kidnapped"

"Well I wasnt. Let me go"

"You better start talking, janessa or else"

He said janessa. Means he's serious. I better start talking.
I pulled him to the living room and sit. He sits near me.
"Well... Aunt lily took me out shopping, then to Starbucks for coffee..

"Coffee? Aunt lily?"

"Yeah. And I met Aunt Eva..

"Let me guess, she squealed more than she talked...

I punched his arm
"Can you let me explain without interrupting? Seriously"

"Ok ok."

I told him everything.
At the end he left his mouth open and gasped dramatically.
"Ohemgee...you're gonna be an actress?... They grow up too fast"
