school with the new kid

After telling her about school, krysta promised to stay by me and be my friend. We woke up pretty late. She ran off to get ready in her house.

Later, I picked her up in Melissa,my mustang.......yes I named my car,got a problem with that?

We missed homeroom and first period. I took her to the office to get her schedule and her locker combination. Then we compared our schedules. Great. We had a lot of classes together. We went to our next period which we had together, boring Geometry.

When we walked in, all eyes were on us. I didn't really care because none of the popular took this class with me except of course, stalkerazzi Shawn. But I didn't have to sit by him today.

We took the only free seats by the  back. After a few classes,it was time for lunch. I and krysta went to the cafeteria.
"So...how's the school food here"

"Well,its school food...how good can it be? Today they serve the good old mystery meat. Isn't that fun? Note the sarcasm"

We laughed and I looked at her again. Did I mention krysta looked super fab? She wore a pink designer top with these super cute mini skirt and pink pumps.

"Good thing I brought ice cream"

"What flavor? Cookies and cream?"

"Oh you know it. "

We laughed. I took her to the a list table, took a deep breath and sat down. She sat near me. Its goodbye forever to silent lunches. Tori and Nathan were sitting apart today,which was so weird. I noticed that Katy sat by tori in my former seat. She wasn't looking so happy, guess she's having the silent-lunchititis.

Shawn looked at me "who's the new girl"

"Oh. Guys,this is krysta."

"So....why is she sitting here" tori glared at her.

"Hey there tori. I'm krysta. Nessas best friend." And she gave that famous million dollar smile.

Everyone in the cafeteria was looking at the table.

Tori glared at both of us,got up and left the table with ksty following behind her. I noticed Nathan didn't follow her like before. I wonder what was wrong. I decided to ask Evan, one of the school jocks.
"What's up with her. Isn't ken gonna follow his barbie? And why is she in a bad mood?"

"I shouldn't be telling you this but tori and Nathan broke up. Something that has to do with one of Katy's friends."

"Which of them"

"Not to sound racist but the black one"

I sat back. What does shabrekka have to do with all this. Krysta whispered to me
"Did she take an extra bowl of bitchflakes this morning or is she always like this"

"I think she and Nathan broke up or something. Let's go for our next period"

We didn't have the same class this time.
"Bye nessa, I'll meet you by your car after class"

"Ok bye krysta"

This is it. My last class today. I can do this. Its just boring history.
I sat down in my seat. Tori sat next to me. It was one of those classes with assigned seats.

Its not just me that doesn't actually pay attention to history,right?

I got a text.

Hey there. My class sucks. Why did I have to take Spanish..argh... XX Krysta.

Krysta...I'm in history. I have to pay attention. ;) N!

Yeah right. No one actually does that.

Quit the jokes. I feel like I should say something. Its really awkward.

Just say hi. I would stay and chit chat but miss espanol is starting to question my under-the-desk action..see you later, Chica.XX

I smiled and closed my phone. The class just ended. I practically ran out of class. Then I rembered I was supposed to talk to tori. I saw her by the door.

"Hey tori"

"I thought you had a new best friend now"

"Sorry about Nathan"

"Sorry? What are you sorry for? Its not you he cheated with. Who told you about shabrekka"

"Uh...I just heard it around. You deserve someone better than him,and I'm not saying that because I want you to be done with him or anything or out of selfishness or anything.."

She touched me and started laughing.
"You're rambling...I get your point though. I missed you so much nessa. You actually cared about me unlike Katy. I think she just wants to fit in. "

"I missed you too, tori."

"Sorry things didn't work out with us. But we're still friends right?"

"Yeah sure."

"Are you busy tonight?"

Now she has time for me. Pretty sure its because Nathan is out of the picture. I can't be her rebound. She ignored me all this time. I can't just  let her do this to me again.
"Earth to nessa"

"Oh uh....sorry. I have plans. Maybe next time?"

I left quickly and met krysta.

That's Krysta up there. At least what I imagine her to look like. But...I don't actually know who that is so,if you do, hmu please.
