She was beautiful. She was a blonde with cute clothes and long legs. She had curves in all the right places. And her eyes...they're.. Wait,her eyes are looking at me?.. Ugh,I was caught staring again. I quickly looked away. I had more important things to do anyway. Like figure out the 'tori situation' or do homework.. Haha,who am I kidding..homework? Yeah right.
I tried calling toris number. It went straight to voice mail. After trying a few more times, she picked the phone.
"Hey tori"
"Uh...she isn't here right now....call her in a few?"
"Wait. Who's this...and where is she"
"Its Nathan.we're out doing...uh...stuff"
I heard the front door...I didn't invite anyone over,who could it be. It must be tori coming to apologize for her behaviour, although that seems so out of character.... I cut the call and run to the door. I opened the door. *gasp..... The new neighbour.
"Uh.....hi"
I snapped out of my staring. Her eyes just trap me all the time. I wonder how long we've been in this position.
"Hey. Come in"
"You have a beautiful house. I'm Krysta" then she flashes me this million dollar smile..I swear I've seen that smile in a movie or something.
"Thanks,Krysta. I'm nessa"
" so....I just moved in and I saw you through the window that other time and I just wanted to meet you...so....yeah"
I chuckled. "Don't be nervous. I don't bite. Its nice to meet you. It must be hard leaving everything and moving where none of your friends are"
"Trust me,it is. Do you go to the school over there?"
"West high? Hell yeah. Are you going there too?"
"Yupp...resuming tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous about it. Care to tell me about the school before I embsrass myself?"
We both laughed. I got up and got the ice cream tub out with two spoons.
"Want some ice cream?"
"Depends. What flavor?"
"Cookies n cream. "
"Damn...you know no one can resist cookies and cream"
We both laughed. She took the spoon and we took some ice cream.
"You could come sleep over at my house tonight. There'll be tons of ice cream....and I'll tell you everything you need to know about that hell hole over there"
She laughed.
"Hell hole....its that bad huh?"
"Well,what's new? School would be school no matter what,right?"
"Of course. I should go now. I have to unpack some stuff, but I'll see you this night at the sleepover"
"Great. I'll be expecting you"
"Would your parents mind?"
" they're rarely home. They work to the death"
"Oh. That must hurt."
"A whole lot. Can I have your number though?"
"Sure"
We exchanged numbers and she left,taking my ice cream along. I locked the door and smiled like an idiot. I just knew Krysta and I would be better friends than tori and I ever were. I heard the door again. Seriously, what's with me being comfy and someone interrupting today?!..
I opened it. Oh my gosh........I didn't see this coming.
So.....there's that chapter I've been promising for so long. Dedicated to my bestest friend for reminding me to update,you know who you are....*wink
