Far away from Marcus's academy a meeting was being held in the capital planet of the confederacy. A man with short military cut, white hair sat at a long table waiting for the meeting to start. His dark blue eyes scanned the others in the room. His name was Florence Locks Marcus's adoptive Father. An emergency meeting had been called and all the generals were to be there, well almost all.

"So," A man with long gray hair and leather like skin said. "What happened?"

"Well someone was in the Kelo house yesterday." Another man with purple hair said. "A squad of Superiors were sent to kill the infiltrator. They were annihilated with no survivors to tell who it was that attacked them."

"Even the Golem pilots?" A voice called out.

The man with purple hair shuttered at the images he saw from the police investigation. Who ever killed the Golem pilots must have been extremely angry to do what was done to those men.

"It must have been Marcus Kelo." The old man with the leather like skin said. "I say we arrest the brat. What do you think Noah?"

The man with purple hair looked up at the sound of his name. Only before he could answer a man with coffee like skin interrupted.

"We have no proof the boy did anything, Henry." The man said.  "He wasn't even on the planet."

"Wrong Cole," Henry replied. "His class was in the city the day this all happened. I think your getting soft."

"Is that so wrong?" Cole said. "The boys pain was because of us."

"If you can't do what's need there's the door." Noah said.

Suddenly the rooms door opened to show a man in his late twenties run in. Like the others he was dressed in his general's uniform. The man had red hair and white eyes a pure as snow. He was one of the newest appointed generals and he had no clue about anything that had gone on with the Kelo family or the Superiors and it was to stay that way.

"What happened?" He huffed.

"Someone killed a squad on patrol near the Kelo house." Locks said.

"What squad?" The man asked.

"No Idea," Henry lied. "We can't identify the bodies. Please Roy go and lead the investigation on this. We will all be returning to are duties as well."

"Fine," Roy replied. "I wish you all luck."

They waited until they were sure he was gone. No one outside of this room was to know anything. Not even new generals.

"Who else could it be if not the boy?" Noah asked. "We know it's not possible to open the secret room with out Marcus's still attached hand. We tried just taking his hand but it didn't work."

"I remember you idiot, and I regret everything about that day." Cole said "The poor kid got hit by a car and we found him in the hospital. He was fine, but you all insisted we take his left hand and tell him he lost it in that damn accident."

"I would do it again if we could open that damn door!" Henry yelled.

"But you never planned for Mark not to trust us." Cole laughed. "The only way to open the door is by using Marcus still alive."

"I don't see why we didn't just force him to just open the door." Noah said.

"Because we can still use Marcus as a weapon and tool." Locks said. "He shall remain in my care and train to be a soldier. We may not have gained Mark's loyalty, but we can still win Marcus's. I will go to his Academy and secretly learn if he had anything to do with what happened. He can't hide the truth from me."

"Very well," Henry said. "The rest of us will return to the battlefield. Once we get are hands on Mark's knowledge and weapons we will rule the galaxy."

With that the meeting was over. Cole left the room and took a quick turn into another room. He didn't speak until he was sure the others were gone.

"Did you get all that Roy?" Cole asked.

"I sure did," Cole said appearing out of the shadows. "I'll go undercover to Marcus's academy to make sure if he does have Mark's things then I'll take him and flee."

"Very good," Cole said. "When Mark told me he wanted to die I though he was crazy, but it was for the best I guess. Now we need to carry out his last wishes as his friends."

"Agreed," Roy said. "I'll be leaving now."

"Remember," Cole said. "Marcus doesn't know what he is or what happened that night. Make sure he doesn't learn the truth or he may turn on the confederacy."

"No," Roy said. "He will turn on the Union and the Confederacy. I'll see you later Cole."

************************************************

Marcus woke up early that Monday to get ready for class. After a nice shower and a good breakfast he went to Mr. Clay's room. Angel was there talking with Flare about something but he couldn't hear them. Not wanting to stand out Marcus took his seat and waited for class to start.

"You dislike this class?" Tic asked through Marcus's mind.

"Kind of," Marcus replied back in thought. "Mr. Clay hates me and targets me in class."

"Ignore the fat fool." Tic said. "He's a teacher, your a soldier."

"I'm a student as of now." Marcus said sneaking a look at Angel and Flare.

"Do you like one of them." Tic asked.

Marcus nearly fell out of his seat when he heard what Tic had asked. Quickly regaining his cool before anyone noticed, then answering Tic's stupid question.

"No," Marcus said. "I don't like either of them."

"Are you sure?" Tic asked. "When you looked at them your heart rate picked up."

"Your broken or something." Marcus said.

"I don't break." Tic told him. "Your teacher is saying something."

Marcus turned his attention to Mr. Clay who was going on about something. He didn't really care, but he would do anything to get out of this conversation with Tic.

"-So you are all to behave yourselves while he is here." Mr. Clay said. "General Locks isn't known for being a nice guy."

"Great," Marcus sighed. "Now I've got 'Dad' to deal with."
