Noah watch the battle on the Mountain rage on and shook his head. How could anything be worth so much death. As his shuttle got closer to the Creator's ship it was shot at by it's aerial defenses. To their horror one of the shot pierced through the ship causing it to plummet to the ground. Everyone else was dead so Noah opened the shuttle and jumped out. He landed on the top of the Creator's ship and got inside.
When inside he was meet by enemy forces who pointed their guns at him. Noah pulled out his Katana and charged them. Before they could fire off a shot Noah appeared in front of them and began cutting them all apart. When they all laid dead Noah cleaned off his blade and went on.
Further into the ship he met more resistance. Like the others he quickly slaughtered them and continued on. Noah could fell it as he got farther into the ship. Soon he would face he's former friend, and teammate, Mary. When Noah found himself outside the bridge he readied himself. He opened the door and Mary was waiting for him.
"Noah," Mary said. "If I remember last time we met it was when you allowed Mark to escape."
"That's right," Noah said. "He didn't want to be the Creator's slave so I gave him a hand."
"None of this would have happened if you had help us capture him." Mary said trying to keep her emotions in check. "Mark would be alive."
"If being a slave can be called living." Noah said shaking his head. He looked at Mary with pity then anger. At her side was Mark's Katana. "That sword."
"Oh this?" Mary asked. "I took it from Mark's house after his death. I plan to give it back to him once I bring him back to us. You can make up for all that if done if you tell me where his clone is right now."
"I am making up for everything by doing this." Noah said taking a fighting stance with his Katana. "Now come Mary, this world has no place for old people like us. We should have died long ago."
"Mark and I will live forever," Mary said taking out Mark's Katana. "You on the other hand will die here!"
Mary dashed at Noah who batted her attack away with his own Katana. She swung at him again but the Katana's blade only sliced through air. Noah went to stab Mary but she quickly dodged and began slashing at Noah.
Noah keep block then went on the offensive. He went for an over head slash but she block and responded by cut Noah across the chest. The freshly drawn blood dripped down Noah's body staining his clothing crimson.
"Not as tough as you thought you were, are ya?" Mary asked overconfident.
Will she talked Noah went on the attack. He had missed her head and just cut her check. She screamed in anger and began a serious of ferocious attacks pushing Noah back. Once he was against the wall she went to finish him off, but he quickly got out of the way.
"I'll admit your good," Noah said. "But I trained with Mark sense we were in middle school. I'll show you how a real sword man fights."
Noah dashed forward with great speed and brought his blade down on Marry with great force. She was unable to stop the attack and a large gash was made over her left eye. After the attack she reared back in pain. As Noah went for the killing blow Mary quickly protected herself.
"Your not going to kill me." Mary said.
"You died along time ago." Noah said. "The Mary I knew would never help someone like The Creator."
"I'm doing this for Mark!" She protested.
"So am I." Noah said raising his katana.
Again they both clashed with great fury. Even though they were both injured they fought on. Neither one of them was willing to give up. Mary went for a low slash and Noah blocked and sent an over head slash in hopes to behead his opponent. No matter how they tried neither of them could gain an upper hand.
"Getting...tired?" Mary huffed.
"Not...at...all." Noah replied with beads of sweat pouring down his face. "I could...go all...day."
Sparks filled the air as their fight continued. Noah knew there was only one way to win this fight. He had hoped it wouldn't come to it, but he had no choice. Mary began slash savagely at Noah who just back away. Suddenly she went to stab him and she felt her sword run through something. She looked up to see the smiling Noah with her sword through his chest. The blood began pouring out of his mouth but his smile never faded.
Mary stared at his confused, but screamed in pain as she felt something pierce her body. She looked down to see Noah's Katana had gone right through her. He had allowed himself to be stabbed to get close enough to deliver a killing blow.
"You sly fox." Mary coughed up with her own blood. "Why do you always have to ruin everything?"
Noah pushed his body farther down Mark's Katana so he could wrap his arms around Mary. They both seemed to be crying. As their bodies lost strength they knelt to the ground.
"Now," Noah said. "We can all be together again."
"On the other side," Mary said. "I'm going to kick your ass."
"Yeah, yeah," Noah laughed. "Sure you will Mary...Mary?"
Noah looked down to see she had passed on. His tears fell even harder then before as he held her body closer. They may have been enemies, but they had been friends longer, and now she was gone. Feeling weak Noah laid himself and Mary's body down. His body was going numb and he could feel his life fading away.
"Marcus," Noah said in his last breath. "The last is up...to...you."
Noah's heart stopped beating and he joined Mary and Mark on the other side. Now only one enemy remains...The Creator.
