When General Locks' shuttle arrived everyone was called to the auditorium to greet him. They all stood at attention and waited for the general. Like every high ranking brass he was following his own scheduled making them all wait thirty minutes. Finally when he walked in the all put up their right hands in salute. He nodded and said, "At ease." letting everyone relax.
"I'm General Locks," He said to the thousands of cadets in the room. "I'm here to see how your training is going. You will all go about your day normally, but a test will be given to you at the end of day to test all of your abilities."
Marcus let his eyes wounder not caring what his 'father' had to say. He lost all respect for the man once he force Marcus to become a soldier. When he adopted Marcus he force him to take tutoring and martial arts classes. As Marcus's eyes wondered the troops his 'father' brought with him he saw a man about nineteen with white hair and blue eyes. Lieutenant Mason Locks, General Locks real son.
"That is all," General Locks said. "Go back to class."
Everyone shuffled to classes, but Marcus didn't move. He had a free period right now so he had nothing to do. Mason walked up to Marcus with an air of responsibility around him. Before Marcus could react Mason wrapped his arm around Marcus and begun rubbing his fist into Marcus's head.
"How's my little brother?" Mason asked.
"Sir...," Marcus replied. "Please stop."
"Sir?" Mason asked surprised. "Enough of the tittles just call big brother, big bro, Mason, anything really."
"Yes Sir...," Marcus said. "I mean Big Brother."
"Marcus." General Locks said approaching his sons who both saluted at him. "How goes your training."
"Good in most areas Sir but," Marcus paused. "I'm the lowest score in the whole School for piloting."
"I see," Locks said. "I hear you have a new Golem. Have you used it yet?"
"No Sir," Marcus said. "It once belonged to my Grandfather and I just got it yesterday."
"Did you hear about your old home?" Locks asked.
"I did Sir," Marcus said. "I was in my hotel room when I saw the story on the news."
"I'm very sorry about what happened." Locks said. "At least you have the Golem to remind you of your Grandfather. Anyway I have to make sure everything is ready for the coming tests, do be ready...son."

The day drew on with no end in sight. Finally they were all allow to go to their rooms before the test was to start. When Marcus got to his room he saw his door open. Inside were to of General Locks' soldiers.
"What are you doing in my room?" Marcus asked making both the men look at him.
"The General has us checking every cadets room for items against regulation." One of them said.
"If you want to find anything like that go to Brain's room down the hall, third door to the left." Marcus said. "I hope your almost done because I'd like to get a shower."
"We were just finishing up." The second one said. "Nothing against regulations was found. Have a good day cadet."
When Marcus was sure they were gone he went into his bath room. He looked at the shower head an unscrewed it. Inside were his Grandfather's old pilot uniform and the picture and drawing he had taken from his house in a rolled up plastic bag. After a nice shower he put his 'against regulations' things back in the shower head.
