Song: The Rock Show by Blink-182

~Cassie~

The sound of Mark Hoppus' voice blasting into my headphones woke me up from my short nap. I sat up and groaned quietly. I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was already four in the afternoon. I had five missed calls form my mom, three from Chelsea and two from Adriana. I also had forty unread messages from non other than the idiot himself... Josh.

Sighing, I decided to see what the hell was so important that Josh decided to send me forty messages. I read through the messages which mostly consisted of Josh calling me a 'wanker' and telling me that their set starts at four thirty. They wanted me to watch and take pictures of them preforming.

I opened the bunk's curtain and slowly got out of the bunk. I grabbed some clothes from my suitcase and started towards the bathroom. Luckily, this bus has a shower so I don't have to worry about smelling bad the entire tour.

After taking a quick shower, I dressed in a pair of black shorts, a Blink-182 white tank top and my black vans. I tied my hair into a messy bun and kept my make up on a minimum. This is Warped tour after all. By the end of the day, my make up is most likely going to be running down my face so I don't see the point in applying anything other than a light foundation.

I grabbed my camera, cellphone, cigarettes and my lighter before stepping off the empty bus. Josh told me that they're going to be preforming on the main stage this year. That reminds me, I should probably see what bands are preforming here this year-

My thoughts were interrupted once I felt someone bump into me, causing me to fall on to the dirt below us. Thankfully, my camera was strapped around my neck so I didn't have to worry about it breaking.

"Holy shit, I'm sorry." The guy apologies. His voice sounded oddly familiar...

I looked up and felt my eyes widened once I saw... Mark mother fucking Hoppus staring down at me with a worried expression. Holy shit, Blink-182 is playing at this years Warped tour? Why the fuck didn't anyone tell me?

Mark smirked, "Nice shirt." He commented, pointing to my Blink-182 tank top.

Blushing, I quickly got up from the ground. I dusted the dirt off my shorts before looking back at Mark. I opened my mouth to apologies but Mark cut me off. "Sorry, about running into you and possibly breaking your camera. I was trying to get away from Kevin for a little while." He explained, chuckling quietly.

"Oh, that's fine. Don't worry, the camera's fine and um, Blink's playing at Warped this year?" I asked. I probably looked calm on the outside but on the inside... I was freaking out. One of the singers for my favorite band is standing right in front of me... Holy shit, I wonder if I can take shots of them while they're preforming.

"Yeah, Kevin practically begged us for play on main stage this year so we accepted his offer. Plus, there are a lot of great bands here. Are you a reporter or something?" He asked.

I shook my head in response, "No, I'm Of Mice & Men's photographer but I'll be taking pictures of different bands this year." I explained, my smile never fading. I still can't believe I'm talking to Mark Hoppus. Does Adriana know Blink's playing this year? Probably not because she knows how much I love this band and she probably would have told me.

"Cool." Mark smiled, "How about you take some pictures of us while we're preforming? We already preformed today but how about tomorrow?" He asked.

I eagerly nodded my head. I mean, how can I possibly turn down the offer of taking pictures of my favorite band while seeing them preform live? "Sure, what time are you guys preforming?" I asked.

"Two thirty." Mark answered.

"Cool, I'll see you then." I smiled. We exchanged numbers before I said goodbye and started walking towards the main stage. I'm really fucking glad I accepted Austin's offer to come to Warped because I just met one of the singers for my favorite band and I'm going to take pictures of them tomorrow. How better can things get?

See, these are just some of the perks of being a photographer for bands. You get to hang out with bands, meet new people, go to different places and listen to amazing music while doing your job and getting paid for it. Yup, this is the best fucking job ever.

Once I finally arrived at the main stage, I showed the security guard my pass and walked on to the side of the stage where You Me At Six where getting ready to preform. I walked towards Adriana who was staring at them with an amused expression on her face. She had her arms crossed over her chest and a wife smile spread across her lips.

"Hey, where were you?" Dan asked, running towards me and pulling me into a tight hug.

"Put me down, Daniel." I laughed, before wiggling out of his tight hold. I looked back at them with a wide smile.

"What are you so happy about?" Chris asked, curiosity laced in his voice.

"Guess who I just fucking met?" I asked, smiling widely.

Josh shrugged, "Mark Hoppus." He guess, laughing at his own 'joke'. He knows how much I love Blink-182 and is always teasing me about it.

I couldn't do anything but smile widely at him. Josh furrowed his eyebrows and I watched as everyone's eyes slowly widened once they realized that Josh was in fact, correct. I had just met Mark Hoppus.

"You fucking met Mark?" Max asked in disbelief.

"Yup." I replied, smiling widely.

"Holy shit, that's so fucking cool but I didn't know Blink was playing here this year." Matt added.

"Me neither." Adriana mumbled, she rested her head against Josh's shoulder and he placed a kiss on the top of her head. I couldn't help but look at them in awe. I always wanted a relationship like theirs. They've been dating for four years and they always seem like they're in the lovey dovey phase of their relationship. They're so cute together.

"Guys, you're on in three minutes!" Their tour manager, Stacey, announced as she continued tuning Chris' guitar.

Josh nodded in Stacey's direction before turning back to me, "Are you going to take pictures of us?" He asked.

"Fuck yes." I laughed, "That's what I came here to do." I added, my smile still not faltering. I'm just so happy that I just met Mark and also, I'm about to take my first set of pictures for this year's Warped Tour.

I watched as all the guys quickly ran out on stage. I walked towards the space between the barricade and the stage and aimed my camera at Dan who was staring at the large crowd. The intro for the song 'Underdog' began playing and I started taking as many pictures as possible.

Okay, so I know Blink-182 doesn't play at Warped anymore because.. they don't want to? I think, I don't know but we're going to pretend for this story, okay? Okay. And I feel like updating a lot so I might post another chapter today. No promises, though.
