Cole's POV
I sneak away at night into the darken forest to where I can meditate. I'm not one to meditate, but now fighting didn't seem like an option. The rain went through me and the green essence glowed around me. It's around this time I wish Sensei would give me some advice or something. I turned my head towards the sky. I begin to wonder how the others were doing. I wonder if they really need me.
Cole....why do you fight against me?
I turn around. " Who's there?" I yell, but there was no one, but myself in the clearing. " I'm not fighting against you, whoever you are!!!"
Oh really, then why aren't you flying through the sky with a dragon's wings, or defeating that beast with the swipe of a single claw...
The voice it..it's me! I turn around and looked at my reflection on the surface of a puddle. Strange, how can I see myself? I thought. " What do you care if I'm not flying. Maybe I prefer to stay on the ground." I stated. The reflection laughed. His fangs glowed white, and his red scarlet eyes gleamed.
Hah!!! What kind of ghost are you if you can't fly. Cole, you have a greater power in you now, and if you let me out I can bring the greater of that power. What do you say?
" No!!!" I yelled. " I won't let you trick me again. I'm not falling for it, and I don't need more power." I turned away from the puddle, but when I looked up the other me was standing right in front of me. " I told you, back off!!"
You're too disciplined for you own good. He contorted. Come one, you've been possessed before remember the snakes.
The thought of that day made me sick to my stomach. I hated being controlled, I hated being lead into something I didn't want. No matter how powerful I was, it wasn't me. I back away a few steps. " I won't let you." I said sternly. His dragon wings unfolded. My body began to shake. He was leading me off the edge of the cliff. I growled.
Looks like that stone is beginning to crumble, eh Cole. Why don't you bind with me so you could just fly off the edge without an scratch.
A few stones fell from the cliff. I looked at him with wide eyes, but not afraid. " I may be crumbling, but I'll come back stronger!" The dragon me hiss at me with impatience.
Fine then I'll have to take it by force!!!
He leaped at me. I tried to fight him from the inside, but it was too much for me to take. I felt my grip slowly weakening. My inner fear was strengthening him, and weaken me. " I'm...sorry, Riku."

Riku's POV
" Cole?!" I shot out of bed. I expected Cole to be next to me, but he wasn't. The rain outside still pitter pattered on the windows. Something wasn't right, I could feel it. Something happened to Cole. I get out of the bed and grab my hoodie and boots and run out the door.
My stone glowed brighter as I got closer the where he might had gone. The stone soon leads me to the cliff where we both climbed a while back. I reach the top by going the no cliff side. I looked around the area hoping to see him alright. That's not what I see though. Cole was standing at the edge of the cliff. Silent and still. I approach him warily. My eyes glow turquoise and the stone shining bright. " Cole?" I whispered.
Well, well I see it didn't take long for you to find me, median...Cole turned around, but it wasn't him. It looked like the darkness took over again. Wings sprouted from his back and a tail whipping on the wet and damp ground.
" Cole, you can't let it take control of you!' I stated hoping that he could hear me.
Oh, he put up quite a fight. Well, only for a short time before I took some of his energy, but I had to do what I had to do. He was lost without me...he hiss stroking his hand through my hair. I slapped his hand away and pulled my stone towards him. I'm I suppose to be afraid of that?
