Brooke's POV

My eyes flutter open at the feeling of soft, continuous strokes through my hair. The sensation sending me back to sleep, but I push the sleep away.

Looking up, my eyes meet an unknown face. I can make out his straightened blonde hair, but his face is blurred out. I can't tell his eye color and most importantly, I can't tell who he is.

I focus on the feelings surrounding me. My mind feels calm and at peace. Every time his hand brushes through my hair, my heart flutters. I can't help to feel love radiating off of both of us.

We stare at each other for a few moments before I notice his head starts to move, giving me idea he is looking down my arm.

My arm. My hand raises up quickly to place it on my arm. His hand gently moves mine away.

"Babe, what happened?" He questions, his fingers running over where my hand had been.

I involuntary flinch at the slight pain. Words leave my mouth without my approval, "I ran into the door knob."

"Are you sure?" His fingers still running over the apparent bruise. I nod instead of talking.

"You have to be more careful. You're so clumsy," he shakes his head.

"I know," my head turns so I am looking out of the window.

Everything seems so familiar, like this has actually happened at one point. The only question is, who is the blonde?

(Hours later)

"So today is my day. I am going to borrow Brooke," Marie tells everyone while pulling me up from the couch and out of reach of Calum.

"Where are we going?" I question picking up my phone.

"A theme park since we haven't been to one in forever."

"Okay, sounds like fun."

Marie walks over to give Ashton a kiss. Calum walks over to me standing beside the door.

"Tomorrow is my day again. I have a surprise for you."

"Calum, you don't have to do anything." I tell him honestly.

I don't need him doing anything else for me. He has already done so much. I hate when someone does something for me or spend money on me. I still remember that much.

"I will do what I want," Calum whispers in my ear, followed by a kiss on my cheek.

"Fine," I groan.

"That's it. I'm taking my best friend before you give her a reason to stay." Marie and I make our way out the door.

--

"I thought we both hate heights," I tell Marie.

We are looking up at what has to be the tallest ride here. The booster, I believe it's called, flips over a group of people but you are way too high in the air for my liking.

"We don't, but why not face our fears."

"Sure," I shrug, just noticing we are next in line.
