My Two Hunky Neighbors

I lay flat on my stomach on the carpet in my living room of my new apartment. I'm exhausted. I just finished unpacking all my things alone and it's already starting to get dark outside.

I want to pat myself at the back for finally making it here independently. Now, I have my own apartment and a great new career in the big city.

With a wine bottle on one hand and a glass on the other, I head to the veranda after a nice long bath. I set them on the glass coffee table outside and settle my butt on the soft cushion of the chair beside it.

Putting my foot up, I take a sip of the liquid and smile at myself, enjoying the night view of city. Lights from different buildings start lighting up and the tower from across my building is fully lit.

My life is just starting and I'm already enjoying it. Tomorrow, I'd be starting with my new career as a Production Director of a well-known music program and I'm super pumped. I've been working hard for the past few years as an assistant and I'm finally here. Not many make it at my age. Well, I guess, I can now say, all those long sleepless nights paid off.

My quiet night gets interrupted by a mere clearing of the throat from the veranda just beside mine. I turn to look and see a guy leaning on the railings, looking straight at me. There's just a two-meter distance from the edge of my terrace to the next and I can clearly see his face with the help of the bright lights from his side.

"So, you're the new neighbor, huh?" He says, smiling.

I raise my glass at him, "Yup," I return his smile. I can't help but notice how familiar his face looks. I almost spit my drink when I realize it's Jinyoung. THE JINYOUNG of GOT7. I quickly jump off my seat and get closer. "Aren't you ...?"

He chuckles. I turn red in an instant, knowing how silly I look at this moment. I back off from the railings and compose myself, finger-combing my hair with my free hand.

"Liking the place?" He asks, still with that cute smile, looking out at the view. "Nice view from up here, isn't it?"

I go back to the view and smile again. "Yes. Yes, it is." I sigh, feeling a bit more comfortable now, yet still sweating like a pig under my jammies even though it's the middle of winter.

"You live alone?" He seems to be looking through the glass doors to my living room.

"Uh-huh." I nod.

"Aren't you gonna have a house warming party or something?"

"Not now." I answer. "I have early work tomorrow. I ... don't have a lot of friends here anyway." I chuckle.

"I'll be your friend."

My head flies to the side, looking at him in surprise ... shock ... or whatever it is you call it. "S ...su...sure ..." Damn. I sound like a total idiot.

"So, next weekend then?" He stands straighter, his smile goes deeper and his eyes disappear, only showing the crinkles at the sides of them.

"Uhm ... " I look away, feeling my heart beating faster and my cheeks getting even redder. "Yeah. Sure."

"Good night then ... Uhm...." He furrows his brows. "Sorry, what's your name again?"

"__________."

"Nice."

Can he stop with that smile for a sec???!!!???? SHIT!

"Good night, _____ ... Friend."

I laugh then. "Good night."

I wake up really early the next day. I have to be in the broadcasting station by 6. It's only 5 and I'm already set. I can't contain my excitement as I leisurely fix myself some heavy breakfast since I know for sure I would be too busy to take a break later when I start working.
