The high school was huge. There was, like, twenty different hallways!

"We're going to get lost!" Fear cried. "If we get lost, we'll get in trouble, and if we get in trouble..."

"Detention!" Sadness sobbed.

"Guys, guys! They don't give out detentions on the first day! Probably..." Joy said.

Riley pulled out the schedule the school had emailed her the other day. Her locker was 185, down hallway number 2, on the first floor. Quite a mouthful.

She started to walk down hallway number 2. There were so many kids. Some of the girls had really big chests, and some of the guys had stubble. Riley looked down at her own chest, self-conscious. She had only started wearing a bra a year and a half ago, so they were small.

"What if we get teased?" Fear said.

"Them we'll RKO them!" Anger playfully punched Fear's shoulder.

"We really need to stop watching WWE during the commercial breaks of Girl Meets World." Disgust sighed.

"Locker 185!" Joy suddenly cheered.

Riley opened the locker and put stuff inside. She closed the door and locked the school-issued lock. As she turned around, she nearly collided with a boy.

"Oh, sorry!" Riley said. She looked up at the boy, and she recognized him. It was Jordan, from the hockey rink.

"Jordan...?" Sadness said softly.

"Woah, I can't believe we ran into Jordan!" Joy was jumping up and down.

Riley had met Jordan one day at the hockey rink, during practice. They became friends quickly, and sometimes, all the hockey kids went out for slurpees or something, so Riley and Jordan hung out then. Riley remembers the first time the hockey kids were going to hang out: Jordan came over to Riley's so that they could walk together, and her parents flipped out! They thought he was her boyfriend! Sadly, Jordan didn't go to Riley's middle school, and practice got pretty busy, so they never hung out anymore.

Jordan looked the same as ever, except that his hair was a little shorter. He had on his baseball cap he always wore.

"Hi, Riley," Jordan said.

"Hi,"

"I didn't know you would be coming here,"

"Neither did I,"

"What's your first class?"

"English."

"Me too!"

The warning bell rang, meaning all students should be starting to head to class. Riley and Jordan walked to English together, talking mostly about their summers. When they had reached class, Riley saw Mia, a frown on her face.

"Riley!" Mia shouted, waving frantically at Riley. Riley rushed over to her.

"What's wrong?"

Mia leaned towards Riley, as if to tell her a secret. "I missed you!" She hugged Riley.

"Ha ha, for a second there I thought you were in trouble," Riley sat in the seat behind Mia.

"I'm good, aren't I?" Mia giggled.

Riley wanted to call Jordan over to sit with her and Mia, but he had already taken a seat by two other guys from hockey. Riley sighed.

"Who are you gazing at?" Mia suddenly said, making Riley jump a little.

"No one!"

"Yeah right, you were staring at Jordan! Do you, like, have a crush on him?"

"No way! Ew!" Riley cried. She had never liked anyone that wasn't in a movie. She just didn't like guys like that.

"People who like someone usually deny it. You like him,"

"Shut up, Mia! I don't have a crush on him! We're just friends!"

"Whatever."

"Gosh, Mia was a little harsh!" Joy commented.

"Maybe she's turned into one of those boy-crazy teens you see on Disney Channel," Sadness said.

"Ew, no!" Disgust joined in.

"Mia isn't like that, Sadness," Joy turned towards Sadness.

"Ok." Sadness sat on the couch.

"Oh, the second bell just rung!" Joy exclaimed.

"We don't like Jordan, do we?" Fear said.

"I... I don't know." Joy said quietly.
