New year new me right? Well you would be correct, but the new me is a terrible me. I have changed and not for the better. Ever since I got to this new school I have felt different, and not in a good way. On my first day here, everybody looked at me with a hatred in their eyes. Some people looked at me with curiosity though. That lifted my spirits for the first part of the day, but then lunch came along. I don't even know if I want to tell you about this. I was looking for a place to sit with my lunch tray in my hands. I had meet one nice girl here, and I thought of her as my only friend here. Her name was Andi. She was my friend and she liked me a lot, but other people not so much. I finally found Andi sitting in the corner of the room all alone. I guess we were the outcasts at this school. We sat there for a while until a big looming shadow crept over both of our figures, blocking out any light that even made it's way to the corner of the cafeteria. I looked up and saw a really big boy with black hair and blue streaks running through it. He had on cloths that I guess were popular here, but thinking back now I can't, and don't, want to remember them. The look in his eyes was filled with hatred. He looked over at Andi and then to me.
"Hey guys," He said with a booming voice, "Look what we have here. The new girl is sitting with the faggot." Andi's eyes filled with tears, but none fell down her cheek as she tried to stay strong. Then the boy started talking again. "Yea, I bet you didn't know that she was a gay freak, did you? Do you still want to be friends with her. Ohhhh, maybe you want to be her girlfriend." He drew out the last word and then started making out with the back of his hand. This filled me with rage. I was bisexual and was teased at my old school for it. One of the reasons why we left. I didn't care that Andi was gay, but the fact the this boy was teasing she for it made me super angry. My hands hit slapped the table hard making Andi and the boy both jump. I stood up walking over to the boy. I stood right next to him. He had a giant height advantage on me, but I knew that I could beat him up using my mind. This boy looked about as smart as a box of rocks. I looked him right in the eyes and steeped closer.
"So what if I'm hanging out with a gay girl. At least she is not as dumb as a box of rocks." Let's just say after that, I might have went home with a couple of bruises.
Andi is still my only friend, and my appearance and reputation has become super different. My usual outfit consists of only black and a leather jacket. People now fear me when I walk the halls. If I walk by them then they scoot over towards the walls and get a look of fear in their eyes. I know that I wanted to not really be bothered at my new school, but this is not really what I meant.
