"So... This is it.." Rin sighed, looking at the members of the Iwatobi Swim Club, trying not to meet Haru's gaze. "Uh... I guess I'll see you around.."
"Yeah." Haru nodded, glaring at him.
The other members were awkwardly standing behind them, not knowing what to do.
"Heeeeey... Rei, there's a thing in the gift shop that Makoto was talking about.. Maybe we should all go?" Nagisa nudged them.
"Sounds like a good idea.." Rei nodded, dragging Makoto along with them.
"So. They said you had something to tell me.." Haru said, taking a step towards him.
"I have no idea what-?"
"Don't lie to me.. I've had enough of you trying to hide things." He hissed.
"Me? Wait. I have no idea what you're talking about!" Rin exclaimed. "I'm not hiding anything!"
Somehow Rin had a feeling Haru knew what he was "hiding".
"You're gay, aren't you?"
Wait what? Well.. He wasn't necessarily wrong.
"I.. kinda..?" Rin murmured. "Wait, why does this concern you?"
"Flight 325 is now boarding." A voice on the loudspeaker announced, causing Rin to jump.
"Damn. I gotta go." Rin sighed deeply. "I'm really sorry, Haruka."
"Doesn't matter. We can finish this when you get back." Haru had a softer tone to his voice at this point. "See ya, Jaws."
"Yeah.. Bye." Rin smiled lightly, then turned around to get on the plane.
'Kinda?? Really? What the hell kind of an answer is that? Kinda gay.. Jeez Rin' He thought.
As he glanced back, he saw Makoto drape an arm over Haru's shoulder as the group walked out of the airport.
Something about that made his blood boil.
