Forget me. Not.

Chapter 1 ~ The news

I awoke to my stupid alarm going off. Ugh 6:30? I regretted staying up late on snapchat and Instagram last night. But I couldn't help it... I mean, it is my last day today. No one knows that I'm leaving. I've already packed most of my stuff and I'll be leaving tomorrow morning. There's a lot of things I need to do today. I'm more than sure my friends are gonna be devastated that I'm leaving.

I switched my alarm off by one swipe on my iPhone. I then went on my Instagram checking my comments and likes on my last two posts.

Last night I posted two pictures of me and my best friend Nathaniel. We all call him Nath for short. We went out yesterday and hung out at our normal spot where we met up with all our friends. I loved yesterday and that's where I'm planning to tell them all today. I told them to meet me there before school at 7:50 since school started at 8:30 am.

Oh crap! I'm gonna be late again! I spent too long on my phone and my second alarm hasn't gone off! 7:19am I have to be ready in 15 minutes!

I ran out of bed quickly throwing on my dull school uniform and putting on my usual makeup. Not even bothering to do anything with my hair I brush it and leave it down. Grabbing my bag I ran down the road and towards the Cafe.

Once I arrived it was 7:55 am. Few that was close! I whipped the seat of my forehead and walked in seeing all my friends sat around the lounges near the window in the corner. Where we usually sit.

Nath noticed me and looked up smiling brightly as I walked up to them. "Hey sleeping beauty arrived!" She shouted out to the group.

They all turned to look at me, some seeming confused to why I wanted to meet up with them here so early. "Hey guys." I greeted them almost sounding as if I was gonna cry.

I didn't want to leave them. But it was for the best. I hated the school here so much! Everyone I seemed to meet hated me here, well everyone but my friends obviously.

I sat down between Nath and Faith. Nath moved closer and flung his left arm around my shoulders. " so.. What did you wanna tell us?" Asked Carter.

I looked around making eye contact with all of them before I finally took a beep breath and "I'm moving."

"WHAT?!" They all screamed in unison making everyone one around look at us.

"What do you mean?!" Nath tugged my shoulder so I now faced him.

"I- it's my last day today. I'm supposed to be leaving to Bournemouth tomorrow." I managed to squeak out before any one els shouted in my face. "I'm sorry!" I quickly added, turning my head down to look at the floor.

"Why didn't you tell us sooner?! Luna!" Nath now pulled me into a hug sobbing silently.

I was surprised at his actions but quickly hugged him back. Leo, Asher, Hazel and Scarlet all 'awwed' at us. I ignored them and stayed in the hug for as long as he needed it.

"I'm sorry! I really am, I just.. I don't know!" Nath noticed I started to shake and held me tighter. "Buts that's another season why I wanted to meet here! I wanted today to be all about us! My last day in Coventry to be all about us!" I shouted making Nath shrug at how loud I was.

"Alright then! After school it's gonna be a day we'll all remember!" Carter seemed to be determined making today be the best day in history, I chuckled hearing everyone shout and cheer.

We stayed at the cafe for a few more minutes until we finally decided to walk to school. When we arrived we didn't get much time to talk or get anything from the canteen, as the bell rang signalling us to go to our Tutors. Me and Nath were the only two in the same tutor everyone els was separated into different ones.

On the way Nath stopped and pulled me to the side of the hall way. He had a serious look on his face but I could see that he was trying hard not to cry again. "Do you.. Want to leave?" He said unsure if he asked the right question.

I shook my head 'yes' and I could see tears forming in his eyes. I didn't like to see him hurt especially since I'm the one behind it.

He just pulled me into a tight hug once again. Not saying a word. Then the second bell rang. Great. We were late to tutor again! Ms. Allmund won't be happy.

"Nathaniel and Luna! You're late to tutorial once again!" Ms. Allmund shouted as soon as we entered the classroom.

"Sorry Ms!" We both shouted in unison as we looked at each other and smirked.

"Jinx!" I leaned forward to whisper to him.

We walked over to the back on the room and sat down in our usual seats. Ms. Allmund had a thing to talk about useless nonsense on Friday mornings so we weren't really paying any attention to her.

"So what's your first class?" Nath asked turning me forcefully around in my chair.

"Drama! Oh god how I love that lesson!" I almost grabbed everyone's attention, once they turned back around I saw Nath laughing.

"H-hey! What are you laughing at?!"

"You!" He laughed.

The school day ended quite fast for a Friday. Me and Faith along with Carter shared the last period together so we waited for everyone outside on the benches.
