Chapter 8 ~ Busy life

I texted Nath to see if he could stay with me for the next week cause of his parents. We could have a sleep over and catch up about our now separate lives. Already planning everything we could do I get a text back from him:

TO: LUNA,
RECEIVED AT 13:58PM

I can't!!! My parents aren't allowing me! They're fighting over who I will live with, Luna I wish you never moved! 😭😭

FROM: NATHANIEL

Oh... My heart shattered to pieces, I was getting excited over nothing. I should have known this would happen. I texted him it was okay and that I had to go. I didn't need to go but I couldn't find a way to cheer him up anymore, maybe keeping in touch with someone that lives hours away from you wasn't such a good idea...

As I'm starting to regret moving I get a call from Ryder, I answer the phone.

Me: hello?
Ryder: hey, Luna. I was wondering if you'd hang out with us at the beach tonight, also Blair and Braelynn wanna take you shopping tomorrow?
Me: I don't have any plans, so sure.. I guess I'd like that.
Ryder: Great! Be under the bridge at the beach at 3:30!

And he hung up. I guess I do have a busy life my self after all..

I take out a bag from under my bed and pack all my things that I would need, like a quick change of clothes just I case. Money, charger, earphones, phone, keys and other essentials. I then change into my bikini and put a blue strapless, Jean sundress on. Also adding a fake flower crown in my hair, that I brought from Claire's a while ago.

I looked at my jewellery and saw the necklace Nath got me on our last day together, with the photo inside of both of us. I smiled remembering that was almost a month and a half ago. It's crazy how time flies so fast. I desire to put it on and finally head out towards the beach.

Not many people are out at this time on the beach so it's quite empty, this is perfect for a party but... There's no occasion for me to throw one. I just shrug it off and continue walking until I see a small fire lit under the bridge. As I get closer I notice Ryder and everyone I met in the group of his friends at school.

I walk closer to them so that I'm in ear shot view and shout, "hey, guys!" They all looked towards me and smile brightly.

Ryder runs up to me and tackles me to the sand, great now I have sand in my hair and will require a shower when I get home. I laugh and get back up, somehow.

The rest of the night we spend laughing, getting to know each other more and messing around. I can't say I regret moving, but I wish Nath and some of my old friends were here with me..

The next morning I woke up at half ten to Braelynn calling me. When I answer then phone she laughs at me still being asleep and shouts at me to get ready. That's right I forgot, Blair and Braelynn are taking me shopping with them.

I wore my long light blue dress, along with a small black jacket and white sandals, also the necklace Nath gave me and Flower crown I wore yesterday.  Grabbing my bag which I packed earlier and heading downstairs, I shout my mum goodbye and leave.

Surely both girls were waiting for me outside my house. I waved and greeted them, then we headed off.

When we arrived in town we headed of to grab some food and of course we went and got McDonald's. After we ate, Braelynn dragged me off to a make up store were she picked out different make up that would suit me, she also picked out really pastel and vibrant lip colours. I wasn't sure at first but a change would be nice so I went along with it.

"What colour foundation do you normally use?" She turned to me from looking around super-drug's aisles.

"Ivy" I replied.

Then she chucked some wake me up foundations into my basket and some other ones as well. Altogether we spent £37.89 in Superdrug buying make up and face masks and cleansers.

Now both girls pulled me towards New Look, Primark, H&M, Quizz and other shops to buy clothing.

After we were done shopping, we stopped at Marks and Spencer's to get milkshakes and walked home. Having to carry almost 50 bags with me and drink a shake at the same time was the most excruciating and tiring.

Just before we reached my house I turned to both girls with a fun idea in my head. "Hey, do you guys wanna have a sleepover?" I asked. Since I couldn't have one with Nath, I thought I'd have one with my new friends.
