I put my instrument down, and looked over to Frank, who was also looking at me. I often liked to look at Frank because he had a striking bone structure and amazing hair. Sometimes, the teacher would even ask him to sharpen his jaw so that she could cut sheets of paper she needed for class. Fortunately, him and I had music class together. Frank played trumpet, and I played trombone. He liked to toot toot, and I liked to blarp blarp.
Frank broke eye contact with me to look at the wall, which was his favourite pass time. I looked at his hands and what they were fidgeting with. It was his pony eraser that he liked to throw across the room and hit the teacher with. He was honestly so raw and rebellious, I can't believe I got the honour of knowing him.
The teacher walked up to the front of the room, earning herself a pony eraser to the temple. I became rock hard. The teacher blinked a couple times and started to speak.
"Now class, as you know, we have a competition tomorrow. We need to look our sharpest, so I put razor blades on our neckties. The judges will be able to see this and we will seem extremely edgy."
I nodded in agreement, and I began to think of Frank again. My second diggledy-ding became rock hard as well.
"Okay, thank you all for attending today's class, quite often I am out shooting heroin and it's nice to see your faces showing up without dragons on them."
The teacher walked out of the room. We still had 70 minutes of class left.
I brushed that off my shoulder and put my instrument away. As I exited the instrument room, I purposely brushed up against Frank and made eye contact with him. We had never spoken before. I imagine his voice sounded like a smooth carrot stick rubbing up against an unshaven leg.
After a minimal amount of thought, finally gathered up enough courage to speak to him.
"Did you know that eggs are a good source of vitamin d? That not the only thing that could be filled with d."
Frank started to deepen his stare into my eyes and his arm hair stood on end, screaming.
"Salmon is also filled with vitamin d. I bet you didn't even know that salmon could be consumed."
Frank bit his lip slightly, and then introduced himself.
"I'm Frank." He said. His voice sounded like some cilantro being grated as it was urinated on. It sounded much different than I expected, but it was still extremely comforting.
"I hope you already knew this because I paid a guy to scream my name into your ear as you were walking home. Let me tell you, that guy wasn't cheap."
I remember that day like it was yesterday, because it was.
I was looking at my daily dose of memes when I heard footsteps growing closer and closer towards me. Someone grabbed me by the shoulder and licked my ear.
"FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK FRANK PLAYS THE TOOT TOOT. REMEMBER THIS MOTHER FULUFFLEPUFFLE GINGER."
I came back from the flash back and Frank looked at me again.
"That was very thoughtful of you to do, Thanks."
His lip was bleeding from where he had bitten his lip. He had bitten right through his flesh. He applied a piece of duct tape, and then ripped it straight off. Damn, was he purposeful.
I then grabbed his shoulder and leaned in. I inhaled deeply to memorize his scent. He smelled like cherries, rust, slightly slated peanuts and almond milk, straight from the almonds fresh titty. And that's something I hope he wasn't, straight. I also hoped he was into choking.
