As Brenton stepped carefully inside the school grounds, he was wary of his surroundings. Every now and then he would look around just to see if one familiar face pops us out of no where-Mr. Williams. Other students would think that he looked crazy and insane but Brenton was too busy in his distracting thoughts.
Brenton reached the classroom and he was surprised to know that his attention wasn't even called yet.
Perhaps.. She didn't tell the principal yet? He thought. Though it sent chills to his spine knowing that the news will soon reach to Mr. William's ears, he tried to shrug the thought off.
The bell rang signalling the start of the first period which was unluckily Math. Brenton cursed remembering his unanswered homework. After the teacher has collected the paperwork, he shifted his attention to the teacher as he attempted to focus on the lesson. For a few minutes, he was able o resist listening to the bored blabbers of algebra but in the end, not a single piece of information got into his mind concluding that today, he was still unsuccessful of changing his old habits.

As lunch break sprouted, everyone started to sprint their way to the cafeteria to satisfy their grumbling stomachs. Brenton, however, wasn't in the mood to eat a segment of food to his mouth. So, he nudged his papers and pens messily inside his bag as he slung the sling through his arm onto his shoulder. As he strolled his way outside to get some fresh air, he recognized a familiar caramel-colored hair.
He took no second in pushing through the forming crowd in order to get her attention. He exhaled ragged breaths as his legs functioned efficiently. He had no difficulty in reaching her in less than a minute as the students moved themselves, giving him a wide access to run on the hallway away from his terrifying presence.
As the petite figure was about to open her metal locker, her eyes turned wide as saucers as she saw the monster running through the hallways and halted in front of her. Fear ran through her veins as she quickly started to sprint off away from him but Brenton with his fast abilities was able to catch her arm and pull her as she figure landed on his muscular, toned chest.
"Get away from me!" She shrieked.
"Hey! Chill out! I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise." He exhausted.
The girl narrowed her eyes at Brenton as she locked her arms on her chest. She repeatedly tapped her one foot on the ground as she waited for Brenton to speak up.
"So?"
"You haven't.. told the Principal yet?" He hesitantly asked, but more like a mere whisper.
Her eyebrows quirked in confusion. "Tell him what, exactly?" She asked.
"You know.. about yesterday night." He implied as he did motions with his hands.
"And why should I? Do you want me to tell him?"
"Wait! No! Please don't tell him!" He begged. "Look, I wanna apologize for what I did. I thought your friend was doing something terrible because I saw you crying. I mistook him as a bad guy so I punched him out of no where so.. I'm deeply sorry." He said in sincerity. Brenton had weird feelings inside him since apologizing wasn't his thing. Usually when he does, he was very hesitant and his pride wouldn't give in but apologizing to her felt natural to him, as if he already knew her which he doesn't.
