"Ouch! Take it easy, will ya?" Brenton hissed venomously as the soft cotton which is soaked with alcohol made contact with his wounds.
Kayla just rolled her eyes as she let out a chuckle. She enjoyed herself seeing how vulnerable and adorable Brenton was despite the fact that the pain he's feeling now wouldn't compare to the ones whom he had hurt.
"Now.. about that long story of yours," Kayla started as she wiggled one brow playfully at Brenton.
Brenton cursed at himself since he hoped that Kayla wouldn't push him further about his one problem in school. But despite these contrasting feelings, he couldn't help but feel a string of trust towards her.
Brenton groaned. He was indeed too lazy to explain how this problem of his started. "Yeah, about that.. Let's just forget about it, okay?" He suggested as he exhausted a tired sigh.
Kayla narrowed her eyes at Brenton as irritation was starting to rise through her veins. "But we made a deal."
"Seriously, it's whole lot of ass explaining and it would just bore you till' death."
"No, I won't," she promised.
Brenton waved his hands dismissively, signalling to just quit it. But Kayla was determined to slip those words from his mouth. She was the type of person who specifically knew curiosity kills the cat and though it kills her, she would take the risk.
Kayla continuously dabbed the cotton with full force on his wounds which caused Brenton to howl in pain.
"Now, are you gonna tell me or not?" She challenged him. Her lips formed into a thin line as she raised one brow.
"Fine," he surrendered as he still felt the tingles of pain on his wounds. "Crazy woman." He mumbled.
As Kayla finished disinfecting his wounds, she then grabbed some bandages to cover them. Her touch made Brenton shudder and caused his pulse to beat wildly.
"I really don't know where to start," he muttered as he did a shrug. Kayla remained quiet as she continued to cover his scratches, addressing him to proceed of what he was saying. Brenton did a light sigh as he looked away, turning his gaze away from her.
"I'm positively sure that you already know my bad habits." he started.
"Mm," she hummed.
"I think I have overdone it his time.."
"What did you do?" She inquired.
"Well, just the same. Punching, low grades, indulging in fights and all those bullcrap. And I think I have crossed the line and all-"
"Not just think but you definitely crossed the line." She emphasized. "Oh, and don't forget your horrible personality."
Brenton rolled his eyes at her comment. "Anyway, as I was saying, I definitely went overboard so my chances of graduating are at stake." He paused as he took in a breath. "So I only have three chances left."
"So you'll have to change?"
"Mm,"
"And that means when you used all of your chances, you won't graduate."
"Yup." Brenton nodded.
"So at all cost, you need to refrain from doing these habits and not let the principal know about it," She stated as she quoted the word habits. "No wonder you got shit crazy when you thought that I told Mr. Williams about Caleb."
