Not Alone Anymore

New School

September 16 was the day I started school at K.C. High School. I started school late this year because my oldest sister, Neveah, couldn't find us a house until late August. Then after that she signed me up for this school. The last schools I've been to weren't good for me because I would always get teased , picked on, and when I did get a "friend", it turns out they were not ever really my friends at all. Those "friends" talked about me behind my back. Like, when this girl, Ashley , cursed me out and told everyone I was actually bald and people tried to pull my hair out ,just because I liked this boy that she also liked. She made my life miserable.

When I walked into the school, I saw plenty of lockers, a bunch of people, and some awesome outfits, the school had cool posters everywhere. My first day was nice, which was different, didn't make any friends but it was still better than the last first days. The teachers were nice, and I have been quiet the whole day, mostly observing people. Bad kids there were nice to the good ones, which was odd compared to what i've seen the past couple of years. I got my locker number and passcode, put my things in, and locked it back. While I was leaving to go home, a boy bumped into me making me fall.

B - I'm am so so sorry, um are you hurt?

A - Y-Yes, I'm fine t-thank you *thinking - I was frozen, nothing like this has ever happened before, usually they'll just keep walking or just laugh, he interrupted me*

B - *waves hand in front of Alyssa's face* Are you sure your OK miss (he said almost laughing)?

A - Oh, I'm sorry! Its just that no one has ever apologized to me before. It just feels weird. Its been hard for me to make real friends

B - Gosh, that must be rough

A - Yeah but I'll be fine, and my name is Alyssa

B - Josh (B is now replaced w/ J soooo yeah)

A - Nice to meet you.

J - Same, so uh I think I've seen you in a few of my classes. Your in
Mrs.Adrian and um what's his name?

A - Mr.Fredrick?

Josh - yeah!

*They talked for half an hour about school and their families (except Alyssa didn't talk about the killer and moving) and also found out a few things about one another.*

Alyssa were are you, you've been gone too long everyone is worried, my younger brother, Nick texted me.
"Hey, I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye," I told Josh.
" OK , see ya, maybe we can talk tomorrow," Josh asked.
"Sure!" I unknowingly said with a smile. Today was the best day, I've had since I was 7 years old. But what I didn't know was that things would get waayy better.
