never let this die^^
-I woke up to my annoying alarm and groaned. Of course it had to be six twenty in the morning, I just wanted to sleep and not go to school but then again my dad would kill me if I missed a day. I got up and grabbed my adidas joggers and white v-neck, grabbing my adidas shoes with the gold lip I got dressed. I pulled my hair back and put on a headband heading downstairs for a small breakfast.
My dad was still not talking to me, I don't know how long he'll be mad but I have to give him space. Grabbing a cereal bar I headed out the door to walk to school, I didn't want to wake up my dad.
I had arrived at school and I saw everyone start to look at me and then start talking to the people by them. I kept walking and then heard giggling from the girls and whistling from the guys, I was so embarrassed I covered my face and quickly ran inside to find Michael.
I ran right into him and gave him a hug which he seemed surprised by. "Hey Katie what's wrong?" He asked me as I looked up at him.
"I don't know, this morning these girls were giggling at me and then a group of guys began to whistle at me.." I said.
"It's probably nothing Katie." Michael said trying to reassure me.
"Yeah, you're right." I said agreeing with him.
"Hi Katie." Carly said from a distance. I rolled my eyes already knowing she'd try to start something.
"What could you possibly want Carly?" Michael asked rudely crossing his arms. Carly just looked at her manicure then to me.
"I know you're new here and all but maybe I should make things one hundred percent clear with you." She said starting to get in my face which I didn't like, "Calum is my boyfriend, not yours, so whatever rumor you're spreading around the school needs to end right here, right now." She said becoming all snooty with me.
I scrunched up my nose, "First of all I didn't start any rumors since I don't even know anyone but Michael. Second you can have Calum all to yourself, I want nothing to do with him." I snapped at her, I wasn't in the mood today and clearly all I did was make everyone pissed at me.
"How dare you speak to me with that tone of voice." Carly said with a gasp. "Nobody talks to me like that." She snapped crossing her arms as well as he two friends behind her.
"Obviously someone should." I snapped back crossing my arms as well as her mouth hung wide open.
"Close your mouth honey or you'll catch flies." Michael chuckled as he went to closer her mouth for her and she swatted at him.
"Get your gross hands off of me." She shrieked which wasn't necessary by any means. "You will pay for this newbie." She said with a glare before walking away from me with her girls following behind her.
"Don't worry, she won't touch you as long as I'm around." Michael said puffing out his chest boldly making me crack a smile for the first time this morning since I got here. I already knew it'd be one long day.
-
It was time to head over to my next class, last one of the day and I just wanted to skip and go home, but my dad would kill me if I did that.
"Katie." I heard my name being called from behind me, I didn't even want to look but I was soon startled by an arm wrapped around me. "Hey, I was calling you?" He said with a frown, I just stared at my feet.
"I heard." I said blankly, I was spun around and pushed against some lockers.
"What's wrong?" He asked me with a serious face.
"Nothing." I mumbled.
"Was it because I kissed you last night?" He asked with a pout, I just looked at him but shook my head no. "Then what is it?" He asked once again.
I don't know what happened but I snapped, "It's your stupid girlfriend, maybe if you weren't out cheating half the time we wouldn't have this giant rumor problem!" I yelled at him, his face was some type of hurt I couldn't explain. I instantly felt bad.
"Oh." Was all Calum could say.
"I'm sorry."
"No I get it, I'm an asshole and I cheat. I didn't want to be this way but because of Carly, I am." He said clenching his fists at his side.
"You can change you know? Just keep a girlfriend without cheating, be loyal." I said to him, he looked at me and cracked a cheeky smile.
"You're something Katie." He said, "really something." He mumbled with a smile.
Calum started to lean in but a voice stopped him. "Calum baby." I heard a squeal, I rolled my eyes already knowing it was Carly.
"Oh, hey Carly." He said with like he was surprised by her showing up.
"I've missed your lips!" She said as she pressed hers to his, I stood there with a grin because I was thinking: I hope she chokes on saliva. I began to walk away when Calum pulled away from Carly and grabbed my arm.
"Wait." He said, he looked down at Carly and kissed her cheek, "I'm going to show Katie to the library, I'll call you later." He smiled at her, she smiled back which was fake and walked away. That's when he saw she was gone and tried to lean in again and I put my hand over his mouth.
"I am not kissing you after she did," I said strictly, "Go burn or wash your lips." I laughed but I was being serious at the same time.
"Katie." He whined as he began to pout. "Don't do this to me." He said getting closer to me as his voice deepened. I felt goosebumps form onto my arms.
"Is that the bell I hear?" I said putting my hand up to my ear, "Wow I have to go to class." I said trying to rush away from him but he got ahold of my backpack and dragged me right back to him.
"The bell didn't ring yet." He chuckled but just as he said that it rang and I grinned at him.
"Well, time to go. Bye!" I said running away trying to avoid kissing him no matter how much I wanted to kiss him back. I've got to start avoiding Calum, for his and my own good.
