King Lin's Dead

I had nothing but spotted sleep patterns since the day I agreed to become Thorin's Queen. I have done my best to stay out of arm's reach of him..My will power is fading fast..But I was taught to wait, but it is becoming hard to not to bend the rule..

So I try to keep busy in other dealings..Such as keeping up with Nina since she has been left in Dis and my care while King Lin and his wife took the new born prince to his kingdom.

When King Lin returns will be when Nina and Bofur can be married..Thorin will be the one to marry the two..

Nina has become a handful, worse than my baby sister Sonya..And here is why.

Nina came into my room all upset, scared..Me in deep sleep for once, I almost had a heart-attack.

"Elise, Elise, please wake up." I need someone to talk to." Nina said as she climbed into bed with me..

"Nina, dear God what is wrong??" Is someone dead or hurt? What is it?" I asked shaking her.

"No,no no one is hurt or dead.."I don't know, I've grown scared." Nina said as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and trying to fully wake up.

"Scared, scared of what, pray tell." I said.

"It shan't be long before I marry and I do not know the first thing on how to please a man like Bofur." Nina said as I bolted straight up.

"Wait, what?" Nan, I'm not awake enough for this kind of talk, go bring Dis in here..I can't deal with this alone." I said knowing how true my words were..I too did know nothing of a man.

Nina got up and I turned over to crawl back under my covers to die, but Ra's morning breath prevented me from doing just that as I pushed his mussel away.

"Boy we have to figure out how to brush your teeth." I said as I fully sat up against my head board while running a hand through my unruly spiral hair..Only to have my door fly open to Bofur & Thorin.

"Oh my God, really." Doesn't anyone around here know how to knock anymore?" I asked as Thorin cracked a smile from ear to ear, forcing me to throw a pillow at him.

"So very sorry Lady Elise, thought something may have been wrong when we saw Nina leave your room upset.

Thorin gave me back my pillow as he sat on my bed to be jumped on by Ra and Cleo.

"No nothing wrong..Is there anything ever wrong in this castle?" First decent sleep in weeks and I get woke up by a blushing bride and two hero's come to the rescue..So no nothing wrong." I said as Dis came in with Nina..

"Dis darlin, you look as bad as I feel, care to join me." I said as she did just that.

"Forgive me, I never meant to wake the whole castle, I just needed to talk mainly to Elise." Nina said turning all manners of shades of red.

"See your child bride is just worried is all Bofur." I said laying back.

"Child, I am no child, I'm 49 years old, almost 50." Nina said as I looked at her in confusion.

"You are telling me you are almost 50?" I asked.

"How old did you think she was?" Thorin asked as he petted Cleo.

"Don't put your two cents worth in this, I thought she was 19-20 give a take a few years..Shit in the bed, I'm only 24 years old." I said as Bofur began to laugh.

"What? What did I say?" I asked.

"Robbing the cradle a bit hu Thorin." Bofur said crossing his arms as he leaned against the wall.
