Future Queen

I grew tired of all the talk of wars and fighting over who was to be Queen to what damn race.

But what baffled me was Nina & Bofur...what was going on there?? What am I missing??

I had not fully healed from the other night with the fall with my horse and the deal the trolls.

I had not been bothered once I left the others in the great hall arguing with Thorin on this matter of..of myself..I had once got a full nights sleep, I had even forgot to put Ra & Cleo in their cage.

"Elise, you look as if you have not yet went to bed." Dis said as she short little self came and took my cloak off the bed where I had lain it, she hung it..Then came back over to crawl up into bed with me.

"Oh I have slept, but in patches..I hope things with the Royals are over with." I said as I pushed Ra away from me as he yawned and his breath stunk to high heaven.

"If you speak of the Elves and King Lin,, sorry but all are still here." Dis said as Cleo forced rubbed herself on Dis..Till Dis returned the affection to Cleo.

"No more dead things for you Ra before bed..Mr.Stinky breath." I said sitting up.

"As I said in patches, but Good morning Dis..Now if you don't mind I believe I will return to the land of sleep.." I said as the coldness of the castle hit me driving me back under the covers..

"Sorry dear, but King Lin and his family leave today." Dis said as she fault me with the covers.

"They are not my guests, they are your brother's, so let me sleep in peace." I said pulling the covers back from Dis and covered my head.

"You are wrong, you are to see them off with Thorin, since you will soon-be-their Queen." Dis said once again pulling back the covers.

"I'm not the Queen yet." So there." I said as there was a tiny quiet knock at my door.

"Enter." Dis and I said at the same time.

"Princess Nina." Dis said as the mouse of a female dwarf entered my bedchamber.

"Came to say good-bye personally Lady Elise...and to say thank you." Nina said as I raised a questionable eyebrow at the girl.

"Thank you for what?" I asked as I fully sat up in bed to acknowledge Nina.

Nina sat on the spot on the bed I patted for her to join Dis and myself.

"I well..Dis no disrespect, but I never wanted to marry your brother King Thorin..Father's idea..But I uh, love someone else." Nina said as she rolled her small chubby hands together as she spoke with a nervous tone.

"Bofur..Bofur, I knew it." I said laughing as Nina looked at me in surprise.

"Interesting..really?" Dis asked as she looked at me.

"What, you didn't see it?" If not mistaken, Thorin saw it as well as I did yesterday." I said..

"It's bad of me I know and with Bofur not royal..My love for him will never be seen." Nina said as she brushed a stray black hair out of her face..

Another knock at my door.

"Enter." I called out.

"Elise, Dis, Nina, you three are requested." Gandalf said as he saw the three of us on my bed.

"Is it about me Master Wizard?" Nina asked as I saw the worried look on her face.

"Really, not if I can help it..Now leave me..so I can get presentable." I said ordering everyone out.
