It wasn't what I expected but It was what I wanted. I had no real regrets, my friends are still alive and that is all that matters.
"Corben, What are we gonna do now?" Sarah asked me in a subtle frail voice
"We just wait Sarah, right now that's all we can do" I replied while cleaning my Beretta 50 cal.. "Okay?"
"Okay Corben" Sarah said with a nod before grabbing her M1014 and cleaned the barrel wisp fully and walked into the sitting room.
"So what now?" I heard Cameron ask Sarah almost sounding in distress.
"I Don't know, I mean what is there to do until Corben is done with his next thing." I heard Kaden say in reply.
Daniel's P.O.V
I woke up to the sound of sirens and screams before I knew it I had my stuff on my crossbow pulled and I was out the door. "I'm Heading out" I said to my sister beforeI ran to the police station to get my Dad and make sure he was alright
"Okay, But Daniel, Be safe, please." I Heard my sister McKenna say before I left the house
"Wow, those walls are still holding up?" I asked myself while holding my Pistol to my side. this is nothin' like what I used to have to live like guards, citizens, a working government? Doctors, cops, this is so weird. I thought to myself as I entered the police station.
"So Dad, I've been thinking. we need to leave I mean as safe as this place looks I've noticed more and more walkers getting into the safe zone and well last time we thought nothing of it, we lost mom..." I said trying to hide my feelings
"Daniel, We ain't leaving ok? get it through ok? I wan't what's best for you and your sister. and if you don't wan't that live life outside the safety of these walls! see how easy it is." My Dad shouted at me as he sat down in his chair and continued with his paper work
that alone was enough to make me get on my motorcycle grab food ammo and my stuff and take off.
"Stupid son of a bitch, man what does he know?!" I said to myself while I was on my way out of the safe zone. "That place won't last. no way in hell I bet my life on it." I continued. "But I need to find a place to rest up for a while."
Now before the next part comes out I wanna ask you guys! what should we do with Daniel as a character? should we keep him away from the group for a while or should we meet him sooner rather than later. anyway hope you guys enjoyed this part the next Issue will be out on Sunday and that will be the set schedule.
