The New guys.

Daniels P.O.V

"Huh? Anyone? anyone wanna take a guess who it's gonna be? ah you know it will always be our guest!" The man said as he dragged me over to him.

But before I could say anything we were all interrupted by a ball and chain hitting the bat out of his hand. 

"Dale no! you son of a bitch!" I heard the man with the Ball and chain say "Billy this is what happens when you piss off the wrong crew!" The guy said before pulling a long sword out from behind his back. "I'll be the bigger man and let you leave I'll allow second chances Billy now get your bat and leave." The guy said in a deep voice.

"Okay, okay, I'll budge I'm gone." Billy Said as he grabbed his bat and ran into the forest with his group. 

Before anyone else could say anything I had my crossbow in hand and aimed at the guy with the swords. Before he could do anything I motioned for him to drop his weapons.

"AK. I guess we have no choice." the man said 

"Or we could..." The man who I would presume is AK said as he aimed his AK-47 at me "drop your stuff and nothing happens." He said in a fierce tone.

"Well." I said to myself as I dropped my crossbow and revolver.

"AK. what are you doing we are not gonna be holding this guy up." The guy said in a serious tone of command.

"Charlie, this guy could of led them to us and look what happened. Dale is dead." AK snapped back at his friend who's name was apparently Charlie

"Don't matter man, blood isn't on my hands, AK right? your friend Charlie said he believed in second chances. well if I'm not mistaken this would be my first offense." I said to AK hoping he wouldn't put a hole in my head. 

My thoughts were interrupted by Jaime calling my name. "Daniel!? Daniel!" she kept calling for me but I couldn't do anything.

I slowly started standing up and grabbed my stuff. "I'll be on my way." I said as I started leaving the camp but was stopped by the older woman nudging my arm. 

"Sir? please at least stay for dinner. you had no control over what happened. and I appreciate that you attempted to help." The woman said while holding onto my arm. 

"Okay. but I need to get a few things before coming back." I said as I walked over to Jaime and my motorcycle. "Jaime. ready to eat?" I asked her and she gave me a confused look. "But we don't have any food" Jaime said to me confused.

"I know Goldie lox. but I found a group their a little friendly skeptical to new people but it's better than being alone I said as I put her on the motorcycle and drove it to the camp. 

Once we reached the camp it appeared they had already buried their dead.  and made food

"Who's the girl?" asked AK and Charlie in almost perfect Sync.

"She's my little sister. Jaime. she will be joining us. tonight." I said.

"Oh um about that, we don't have enough food for everyone here." Charlie said sympathetically

"Okay then I'll eat tomorrow" I heard Jaime Pipe up. 

"No you won't for the time we are here you'll be eating. okay?" I said to Jaime Sternly

"And what about you Mr. um" The older woman asked me.

"Oh Um Mr. James. you can call me Daniel." I said to her with mutual respect. "And I guess. I'll eat. whatever I can find I can't let her go hungry. but thanks for the offer Misses?"

"Reed. but please call me and my family by our first names I am Elizabeth. That is my oldest boy Nathan he's 16" she said as she pointed towards the older boy who was now leaning against a tree. "and my youngest one Corey he's 8 now"She said as she pointed to the younger boy who was clamped to her side. "and my daughter Corielle she's 12" she said as she pointed at the girl sitting on the R.V stool.

"Okay well looks like ya'll have a good set up but me and my sister Jaime we're gonna head to the nearest city hoping to find someone you guys are welcome to come with If their isn't room in the RV for everyone I found a car not far from here, up on the highway.

"We have room but how can we be sure we can trust you?" AK asked me with a suspicious tone. 

"Well you don't have to trust me you just have to understand." I said as I loaded my cross bow and sling'd it onto my back. "But before heading out we have to make a run AK you're with me I'm gonna need you to help me I saw some supply's at a trailer park. Okay?" I said to him while loading my revolver then putting it in my holster and got onto my bike.

"I guess I have no choice" I heard AK say as he got onto the back of my bike.

From that point we drove off into the darkness on our way to the trailer park.
