I woke up in the back of a car with Rico in the driver seat, I sat up and asked "Where are we? where's the rest of the group? Where are we going?" She only sighed and picked up speed.
I looked to my right to see Jaime in the front passenger seat.
"We only found her there. We couldn't find anyone else. But we got what we came for" Rico said breaking the small silence. I only nodded and looked down. Wiping away any tears that had a chance to flow.
Bounty Hunter P.O.V
"We won, why are you so mopey Sky," Kyrstan asked putting her arm on my shoulder sympathetically. "I don't know, I think it just hit. The fact that he could have fixed everything, all of it, and in the end, We killed him, now, now nothing can go back. We can't fix this anymore." I said looking down at my black tinted sunglasses.
"I know, but think about it, we can go get our pay, we can ignore the rest of the world, we can have our future Sky, We can have he or she's future.." Kyrstan finished, looking down to her stomach. I only smiled and thought to myself how worth it, this really was.
"She's right Sky, as mentioned, we kill Corben, get our pay, split paths and never have to see each other again. It was you, who said "That sounds like a deal" or am I mistaken?" Kaden said looking at me speaking through his gas mask
Solace: P.O.V
"Scope. Slow your ass down. Calm your tits, right through here." I said waving my hand forward motioning My friend Scope ahead. I held my hand in the air clenching my fist, motioning for him to come to a halt. "Dude, It's a guy," I said looking the body to the ground. "What's his name?" Scope asked me questionably. "Hmm lemme check," I said kneeling down pulling out the wallet of the man on the ground but before I could open it his hand reached up and grabbed me by the arm. "Don't touch, my stuff" The man who seemed dead said to me as he tried to stand up. stumbling forward Scope stepped forward and grabbed him by the arms. "Hey, hey, take it easy, it's okay." Scope said Moving the man to the car. I opened up the wallet. 'Corben Blake' I thought to myself 'wait, the doctor?' I stood up and walked over to Scope, and looked at him, then down to Corben, "So, what, What are you doing here? Aside from napping in the middle of an apocalypse doctor know it all" I questioned him "It's a blur you see, I was with my group, and, we were confronted, by three bounty hunters, they tried, keyword, tried, to kill me, almost succeed, but, something happened some luck, the gun's kick sent the bullet to graze my head, not actually hitting me, well as badly," Corben said using a nearby branch to hold himself up from falling.
*three weeks later*
I looked at Corben with a frown, "Are you seriously going to find your group? The one that left you?" I asked. "No Sol, WE are" "But that's suicide, we'll never make it." I heard Scope chip in, "I don't care, I have people to find" Corben argued "They left you for dead" I persisted, "Because they thought I was dead" Corben shot back, "Fine, we'll find them, but what happens next?" "No clue." He said putting the mag into his rifle
Daniel P.O.V: months later
After about 2 or 3 hours of driving, we came to a Walmart and Charlie, Rico, Sarah and I got out to scavenge. once we entered I started to speak "Okay, so, what do we get in specific from here Rico?" I asked her Loading up my crossbow, "walker" I whispered as I put it to the floor slowly as I started to sneak up on the walker and I shoved my combat knife through the back of its skull, it went to the floor with a quiet thud, all of the sudden Sarah started firing off shots at some walkers who were getting closer, Rico grabbed Sarah and brought her into another room to wait out the walkers as I started stabbing at the walkers, picking up my crossbow firing one into the dead center of a walkers forehead, I then grabbed onto monkey bars and swung kicking a walker into two others down a stairwell in the open doorway to the boiler room, I looked to my side to see Sarah's pistol lying there, I picked it up and started firing at the walkers as they toppled over one another, once I ran out of ammo, I climbed up a shelf high above the floor, I looked down to see around fifty or so walkers surrounding the area. I sat back in the corner thinking of what to do from this point. I saw out of the corner of my eye Charlie Chain whip grappling walkers and bringing them closer so he could shove his katana through them. I called over to him "Charlie, try and cover me" I said as I motioned to gas tanks and a lighter about an Isle away, he nodded and started to cover me while I jumped down and started sprinting to the items, I grabbed the fuel tanks and started pouring them all over the floor and I grabbed the lights lighting the fuel as I carried the tank into the pile of walkers, in the nick of time I managed to climb back up the shelf, Charlie and I watched as the walkers burned. "Just like the twin towers" Charlie joked, I only looked at him like 'what the actual fuck' he laughed as he dropped some metal objects on the walkers heads killing some of them faster.
