On the Road.

Daniels P.O.V

"Daniel?" I heard a familiar voice say 

"Sis? Jaime!?" I said as I turned around and hugged her. "Why are you out here?"

"I didn't trust it too many roamers were getting inside. and then I saw your motorcycle and I took a chance and here I am now" She said with a smile as she sat on the back of my bike. "Are we gonna go? or are you waiting for something?" She said with a smile. 

"Yea. we can go." I said as I got on my bike but before I could get it started I heard gunshots and two screams. I looked behind me to make sure Jaime was Okay. 

"Daniel. I'm scared what's happening?" She said in fear,

"I don't know but stay here. someone needs help and I ain't about to leave them." I said as I hoped off the bike and ran in the direction. 

"Okay! so! what one of you fucks is gonna die?" I heard the man say "Is it gonna be the kid? the dad? the mom? the brother? the sister? oh. how about our not so welcomed guest?" the man said as he pointed a baseball bat at me.  "get him boys" The man said.

And before I had any say in what was going on I was grabbed from behind and forced next to the family.

"Eeenie." The man Said as he pointed the bat at the youngest. "Meenie." The man said as he pointed the bat at the girl. "minney." the man said as he pointed the bat at my head. "Moe!" He said as he pointed the bat at the older mans head. "Catch a tiger" He said as her pointed the bat at the older ladies head. "By the toe" he said as he pointed the bat at my head again. "If he hollers" the man said as he pointed the bat at the youngest boys head. "Let him go." the man said as he pointed the bat at the older woman's head. "Let him go." He said as he pointed the bat at the younger girls head. "My mom told me to count." he said as he pointed the bat at me "well ma'am I wan't a number"

I stood their Silent hoping to buy time for the family to leave

"I said I wan't a number!" He shouted at me as he hit me in the side with the bat.

"I dunno man. Ten?" I answered trying to shake off the pain.

"TEN! he says" The man said to everyone "One!" The man said as he pointed the bat at the older man's head. "Two!" He said as he pointed the bat at the younger girl's head. "Three!" The man said as he pointed the bat at the older woman's head. "Four!" The man said as he pointed the bat at the older son's head. "Five!" The man said as he pointed the bat at my head. "Six!" He said as he pointed the bat at the younger boy's head. "Seven! eight nine!" the man said as he pointed the bat at my head while smirking. "10" the man said as he pointed the bat at the older man's head. "And you are not it!" the man said as he pointed the bat at the younger boy's head. "Bring him up say goodbye to the kid!" The man said as he raised the bat over the kid's head.

I tried to nudge out and stop it but then I heard the Older man speak.

"NO! PLEASE! Kill me instead. I beg of you. please." The older man said forming tears in his eyes. 

"Okay, then, bring him up!" The man said while licking his lips. 

Just then the other guys brought the older man up to the man with the bat. 

"you Nobody move! you can cry, you can breathe, you can scream, and you can die! hell, you're gonna be doing all those things" the man said as he raised his bat. 

"Just do it man" The older guy said. 

"What?" The man with the bat said to him in confusion.

"Finish me off. do it before I kill you" The older man said to him in a threatening tone.

"Alright!" The man with the bat said as he hit the Guy over the head. "Oh! Damn! taking it like a mother fucking champ!" 

by the first hit the older guy was on the ground bleeding to death.

"Oh Shit! is that blood?! I thought you where tougher!

"Dale!" The older woman shouted in fear with tears in her eyes.

"Daddy! no!" I heard the kid's screaming while crying.

"Three! Two! One!" The man shouted as he hit the kid's father again.

"You Monster." I said under my breath.

"Now! who's next?" The man said with a smirk.
