The perspective of the lovely Alois Trancy.
I wait impatiently at the table the next morning.
I grow bored quite easily.
I drum my fingers on the table in annoyance.
When will they be here?
I wonder what is taking Claude so long just to fetch them. It's a very simple task.
I soon hear heels clicking on the floor.
Finally.
Sam takes their seat.
They have dark circles under their eyes.
They don't bother touching their food. They just sit and stare.
"You should probably eat." I say stiffly.
They don't move a muscle.
"You should probably eat." I say a bit more forcibly.
They look up at me. I've got their attention.
"So, that, um, you have energy." I suggest. I'm trying to act like I care. I do care about Sam, but only because I need them.
We spend the rest of the morning awkwardly glaring at each other and playing with our food.. . .
After breakfast, I decide to show Sam the rest of the manor, just to keep them with me.
We walk from room to room in silence. Sam seems engrossed in all of it's splendor. I am bored. I got used to this place a long time ago. I remember when every shade of red looked like blood, and when every splash of gold was a symbol of narcissism and greed. I remember when I hated this place with a burning passion. I remember when it was my prison. Now, it is my home.
I can't have Sam hate this place as much as I did. I won't allow my home to be their prison. They need to like this place. They need to like me. If I want my happy ending, I need someone to help me save my own life.
I also need a friend. I have too many enemies.
No, I don't.
A small part of me wants a true friend.
I ignore it. I only need someone who will help me. Nothing more.. . .

Our Unhappy Ending (Alois Trancy x Reader)
FanficYou can give Alois Trancy a happy ending. Prevent his death. But not if you fall in love with him first. My first 'x reader' fanfiction. This story is old, and rather cringeworthy in my eyes. I'll keep it up for now, since people seem to like it.
