I walked down the hallway trying to understand what just happened. I was so confused and as I predicted the day went from bad to worse. I was still stuck with Danielle as my partner. How was this supposed to work? I had no idea.

I couldn't shake off this constant thought nagging in the back of my mind. What was so special about her student file? Why had she refused to work with other classmates besides Nicholas? What makes him different?

I was so caught up trying to figure out a way to work this whole mess out that I forgot to ask Matt for a ride. How the hell was I going to get home? The thing is that even though I have a car I don't drive it to school. My car didn't fit in with this school. For goodness sake there is even a student with a Lamborghini Reventon. Sweet ride by the way. Takes 3.3 seconds to reach 60 mph and it has a top speed of 211 mph. Last time I checked that car was over 1.5 million. I couldn't imagine how my Ford Focus was going look beside that beast of a car. Besides I didn't wanted to know what these shallow, spoiled kids were going to think or do if they saw me driving my car.

I sighed as I was make my way to the parking lot, praying to God that for some crazy reason Matt was still hanging around the parking lot.

I scanned the cars in the parking until I found him. He was still here! He was my best friend for a reason. He was always there for me when I needed him.

"Hurry your a$$ up man, I have been waiting for ages here!" he said while rolling up the windows of his black Audi TT RS.

"Thanks for waiting bro. I had the worst day ever."

"What did Mrs. Bloomberg say?" he asked as he started to drive towards my house.

" We're still working together if that's what you really want to know. Honestly I don't want to talk about it. I'm tired, confused, pissed off, and my head is pounding. Please let's not talk about it anymore." I turned my head to look out the window. I didn't wanted to be rude to Matt. I just had enough of Danielle for the day.

"Whenever you're ready I'm just a call away." he said looking at the road.

"I know, thanks man."

The ride to my house continue just listening to the radio and having little unimportant conversations.

When we made it to my house Matt asked me " Do you need a ride tomorrow morning? You cut it really short today." He had a big grin on his face.

" Please if it's not too much to ask. I don't want to keep begging my mother every morning."

"It's cool. I will be here at 7:20 am sharp. No oversleeping or you will be begging on your knees for a ride from that hot mother of yours Cammy." he said with that stupid grin on his face again. He knew how to get on my nerves. Luckily for him I had enough of this day. His comment wasn't going to get to me. Not today.

"Still having that fantasy of bedding my mom? Ugh, I think I threw up in my mouth a little."

"Your mom is number one in my personal mother I'd like to fu....." I closed the door. I didn't wanted to hear whatever he was going to say about my mom.

The smell of food invaded all my nostrils as soon as I opened the door, meaning that my mother was home and we were having guests tonight. Probably some members of my father's political party committee. Just what I needed to end the day with a bang and on a high note. Was it Friday the 13th or did I walked under a ladder this morning and I didn't noticed.

I walked towards the kitchen looking for my mother. Trying to find out what was going on and why she was home early and cooking. Sure enough, she was there in front of the stove reading some instructions on a box, of what looked like pasta. " Hi mom. I'm home."
