The title pretty much explains it all.
Books, the eighth wonder of the world. Those special little creations which have helped so many people go through hard times when no one else was there for them.
Books are most probably the reason of why I am not completely messed up.
What would life be without books? Without them, you would most likely never have that wide and vast imagination which helps you in so many ways every hour of every day you go through.
If books never existed, nobody would have gone to Hogwarts and learnt the basic principles of a decent witch or wizard. Nobody would've known the way of the shadowhunters, looking better in black than the widows of their enemies.
Nobody would've fallen in love over and over again with all those oh-so relatable, drool-worthy, sassy and adventurous characters, which make us have those high expectations of everyone and make you understand life better.
What would we do without those life-changing authors, such as John Green, Cassandra Clare, James Dashner, Becca Fitzpatrick, J.K Rowling, Veronica Roth and all the others whose names are not coming to my mind at the moment.Of course, we would have social medias, like YouTube, Tumblr and all of those incredible TV shows and movies, but, think about it, would you really be able to live in a world where books never existed..?
