They poured out of her eyes like droplets of rain water pouring on a deluge. She laid on her bed, powerless.
Her make-up stained her newly-bought off-white sheets but she couldn't care less. All she could think of was how she wanted the agony to stop.He broke her.
He ripped her.
He shattered her.
All in one night.
In only one sentence.Her breathing was ragged. Her eyes were puffy. She held on her pillow so tight that her knuckles were white.
The thoughts going through her head were like whiplashes.
She quivered and wobbled like a leaf.
She was furious at herself. She knew that he did not deserve her feeling this way.
She felt feeble, vulnerable.
She hated herself for this.
She knew what was right, and this definitely was not.
With another deep ragged breath, she turned to face her ceiling.
She stared at the teal canopy of her bed lifelessly.
Her head was pounding.
The worst thought that popped into her mind was how he doing just fine, how he didn't know that her heart felt like it was skinned alive.
How he didn't care.~
