She felt it all over again, for seemingly the last time.

The cries of the people she knew, the happiness of her past memories, the pleasure of sweet satisfaction and pride, the goosebumps of fear and the swelling of her weak heart at pitiful and saddening sights.

She felt it all again as she glanced at the while dazzling light coming from that unfamiliar Hallway. The hallway which would end it all right there and then.

But, one thing bothered her. It never stopped, even at the last minute, picking at her mind like a sharp dagger poking her feeble heart.

Where were all the quirks she was once promised? The promises to always be loved and remembered, to be regarded as a lovely, charming Saint, or even an object of simple matter somewhat.
The promises made by so many, over and over again.

She stared at the luminous deceiving hallway of her death for a faint amount of time.
It seemed to be begging her to let go of those memories, of those broken promises, to let go of the past which was eating her up for oh-so long.

She gave in to the irresistible two-faced demands of the hallway.

Closing her eyes, she let it all go. She always thought that maybe, just maybe, it would've been true.

Deep down, she always knew those talks and promises were only gibberish anyway.
