Rewritten is now published! It's better for me as a writer to create something I love then drag on with something I don't.
The Rewritten will
-have similar plot
-same characters
-have smoother transition
-overall better, just saying
It would mean a lot if you would check it out

Tears and Pies
Devin and I were walking up the stairs to my bedroom after school when I got a text.
Hey are you busy?
I looked up at Devin who was ahead of me before replying to Jack.
Kinda, What's up?
I'll just text you later when Devin leaves.
How did you know I was with Devin?
I didn't ...until now ;)
My fingers flexed, ready to text back but had I bumped into Devin's chest.
"What are doing?" He asked in insouciane; he may have acted as if he didn't care but Devin was a very curious boy.
"Texting my dad." I didn't like to lie to Devin but if he knew I was talking to Jack he would go on a large tirade of his hatred for him. Devin had let it go, nodding his head and bit his lower lip.
He knew I wasn't texting my dad but I was grateful that he left it at that. We just had a fight, I didn't think he wanted one again.
"I really don't want to do anything." I kicked off my shoes and sunk into my bed. It was too hard for my liking, and when ever I would land, I would do it with an Omfph!
"A lot of people don't, sit up and do your homework." Devin opened his backpack and took out his homework, getting ready.
"Can't we do this later?" I whined, kicking my legs.
"No, only because you say 'later' when you aren't going to do something."
I groaned, "Why don't you go be a nerd somewhere else."
I felt two cold hands on my ankles. "Come on Jay Bird. You have to do your homework."
"No!" I grabbed my headboard and shook my legs in an unruly manner. In one yank, my hands had no choice to let go. "Please Devin, I'll do anything!" I scratched at my comforter but it just followed me to my doom. Devin picked me up from behind, and placed me on his lap, his cold hands on my mouth.
"Shh, Shh."
I bit his palm, scooting away getting my backpack.
"Stupid school. All they ever do is give us packets and expect us to learn." I pouted as I took out my photography notebook and the camera from my backpack. The assignment was to do pet eye view, and shadow.
Making sure that the SD card was in properly, I looked around the room. I slowly got down on my stomach and focused the camera at a lamp. I didn't have a pet so I had to estimate. I focused the camera at the lamp letting the light from the blinds give some brightness. I pressed the shutter button a few times. Scoping around the room, I found a shadow of my teddy bear on my bed, I took a couple of pictures of that also. Lastly I took some simple pictures of photos lined up on my blue wall. Probably a B. I was preparing to shut it off, when I saw him.
"Tell us again how you saw the model of your award winning photo."
"There he was! Sitting in the middle of the negative space, itching his eye!"
