Rewritten is now published! It's better for me as a writer to create something I love then drag on with something I don't.

The Rewritten will
-have similar plot
-same characters
-have smoother transition
-overall better, just saying

It would mean a lot if you would check it out

Love,
Allie

Gross Period Pills and Teachers

"Do I want pie?!"

"Jayne, watch your tone. I'm your mother." She pointed a finger at me.

"You have abandoned me for months to go play with your boy toy and now you think you can come here and parent me? How dare you!"

She sighed and held the bridge of her nose muttering. "Jayne, I'm here now. That is all that matters."

"But what about tomorrow, or the next day? You'll leave and think everything is fine!" What was wrong with this woman?

"Jayne, I came here to-"

"No, just go back to your little boyfriend. I doubt he even wants you! Who wants a filthy cheater? Because if he can accept you cheating on your loving husband, he is not such a good person after all!"

My face was red with anger, my head pulsing. My nails were so tightly enclosed into a fist that I could feel them making crescent imprints into my sweaty palms.

"Let me explain!" She was crying now, fanning her eyes with her hands and trying to walk towards me, but I wasn't having that.

"Don't come any closer! Do us all a favor and just leave." My voice was tired and I was losing energy. She didn't listen and just stood there, shocked that I didn't run towards her with open arms.

"You heard her."

We both looked up to Dad, standing at the top of the stairs, he was still in his pajamas. His face was stoic; showing no emotion.

"Leave, go back to wherever the hell you came from." Dad walked down the stairs towards her suitcases that she must have brought and headed to the front door. He opened the door and threw her suitcases into the dark night. The door was still wide open as he waited expectantly.

"Please, let me explain!" Her mascara was running and were leaving black streaks on her face.

"No, no we get it," Dad said. "You lied, you cheated, you left and now you think you can come into my home and invite yourself in. That key won't be useful anymore because in the morning the locks are going to be changed."

She nodded with tears streaming and walked out the door and Dad slammed the door behind her. He turned to me, "Don't let her into the house ever again, I never want to see her face." I nodded and went to my bedroom to try to sleep.

I had only gotten one hour of rest before Devin woke me up.

I was putting on my sneakers when my bedroom door flew opened.

"Hey Jay, what's wrong?" Devin sat on my bed, facing me. Sometimes it was annoying how he always knew when I was in a bad mood.

"My mom came home last night." I tied the shoe and stood up and grabbed my bag, starting towards the door to go down to the kitchen. Devin followed suit and frowned, knowing about my mother.

"She's here now?"

"No," I sighed, brushing my hair out of the way, I had decided to leave it out today. "My dad kicked her out."
