It's 2:47 am and Maya was woken up by the creaking of the front door to her apartment. Who is walking into her apartment at 2 a.m?! Maya grabbed the baseball bat behind her door and crept slowly to the living room. She gripped the bat getting ready to take a swing. She was just about to hit the stranger over the head when-

"Maya! Are you insane?!? Put the bat down!" Riley exclaimed with her hands over her head for protection.

Maya released the bat and plopped on the couch. "You scared me half to death! Riley what where you doing out at 2 am? Did you go to IHOP cause you were craving pancakes at 2 am again?" Maya asked rubbing her puffy eyes

"Uh no...I was at the-library.." Riley lied

"Mhm...you sure bout that?" Maya crossed her arms not believing a word Riley is saying.

"I should have just said I went to IHOP." Riley said under her breathe

"What?"

"Nothing! You know what Maya I'm reeeeeaaaally sleepy, ya know for all that reading...so night-night bye." Riley fumbled while pulling a blanket over her head.

"Yaha and are you sure you where at the library? They close at 6 pm and it's- oh would you look at that! It's 2:50 am!" Maya said sarcastically

"Ok fine! You caught me!" Riley pulled the blanket off her head and threw her arms up surrendering.

"Riley where were you, truth?" Maya demanded with raised eyebrows and crossed arms.

Riley stood up looking out the window all dramatic.

".....I was with a boy..." Riley confessed

"No kidding..." Maya yawned trying to keep her eyes open.

"Well...who is he?" Maya grinned

Riley turned her head around to look at me with I-dont-wanna-tell-you-but-I-know-I-have-to look.

"Charlie Gardener." Riley confessed

Maya's eyes widened

"Oh no! Creepy Charlie?" Maya confirmed with her head in her hands

"What? He's not creepy...anymore." Riley defended

"Oh really?" Maya questioned

"Yeah! He has totally grown out of the creepiness." Riley stated

"Look Riles, it's 3:04 and we will continue the 'creepy Charlie' conversation in the morning." Maya yawned lifting herself off the couch and walking back to her room.

"Not creepy!" Riley yelled after me.

"Goodnight Riley." Maya smiled
