Chapter 5.

"Jane do you undertand what this means?" The headteacher yelled from across the desk.

"Yes ma'am" Jane replied trying not to make eye contact.

"You eill be excluded until further notice miss Rizzoli." The woman stated and stood up to signal for Jane to keave school.

Jane stood up and sighed then left the room and headed to her locker to pick up her things. Before she left she thought she should go and see how Miss Isles was.

Jane gently opened the door to the empty biology class and looled around when she saw Miss Isles reaching for something on the top shelf in the cupboard.

"Uh Miss Isles?" Jane interupted.

"oh Jane! You startled me!" Maura said as she jumped a little.

"Sorry..I just wanted to make sure you were okay before i left" Jane said swwetly as she stepped into the cupboard and reached up and pulled the folder off the shelf and handed it to Maura.

"What do you mean before you leave? It 1pm" Maura stated as she took the folder and looked up at her student.

"Ive been excluded until futher notice" Jane said as she looked down at the older woman.

"What?! This is all my fault" Maura said as she looked down at her feet.

Jane frowned and pulled Maura's face up with her fingers under her chin.

"Not at all, You did nothing wrong" Jane smiled.

Maura looked at Jane's soft lips and Jane noticed. Jane movee foward a little and Maura stayed for a moment before moving bacm a little and loolong down.

"Jane i cant" She whispered.

"Just take a risk, We both know you want to" Jane smiled as stepped back.

"I have to go..Ill see you soon Maura." Jane smiled sadly as she turned and began to walk away. Just as she exited the cupboard she was dragged back in and slammed against the door that Maura closed and fekt Maura's lips crash against her own.

Jane dropped her bag and placed her hands on Maura's waist as Maura ran her hands up Jane's chest.

"Are you sure you want this?" Jane asked breaking the kiss.

"Im sure."
