Learning and Loving.

Chapter 14.

She was breathing heavily as she ran down the hall. She reached the class room, but what she saw wasnt what she had expected.

She ran over to the limp body lying on the floor. Who was it? Oh god. Maura.

"Maura?" Jane called, Echoing around the class room.

"Say goodbye Jane" He smiled as he pulled the trigger.

Jane jumped up from the pillow her head was resting on in sweats trying to catch her breath. She looked around wondering where she was when a soft hand touched her shoulder.

"Jane?" A quite soft voice asked.

Jane didnt reply. She was shocked from the nightmare she had just had.

"Sweetie? Its okay, Your safe" Maura whispered as she placed a soft kiss on Jane's shoulder and wrapped her arms around Jane's slim waist.

Maura pulled Jane back down to sleep and pulled her close. She glanced at the clock. 4:59am.

Maura placed small kisses on Jane's head as she fell back to sleep weak in her arms.

"Goodluck sweetie! Ill be in the audiance. God, you kids grow up so fast!" Angela whiped the tears from her eyes as she spoke to her daughter dressed in her graduate gown.

Jane laughed a little and kissed her mothers cheek then left to go to the stage.

As she walked down the crowded hall full of graduating student she smiled.

This is it Rizzoli. Time to grow up, get a life. Become a detective and one day marry Maura. You can do this!

Jane stepped onto the stage and took her seat and listened to the speeches and some small speaches from teachers about some students that names were called.

"Jane Rizzoli!" The head said into the microphone as the hundred's of parents clapped. Jane stood up and made her way across the long stage to where Mr Jones stood with a small piece of rolled up paper with a red bow around the middle.

"Congratulations" He winked. Jane shook his hand and turned to the audience, her eye's landing on a very beautiful Maura.

Jane locked eyes with her and smiled as Maura gave her a small wink and clapped.

Jane raised her arms to the crowd and yelled.

"WOO!" She screamed, other student joining her with throwing their hat high.

"Please welcome Miss Isles" Mr Jones smiled as Maura made her way to the stage and over to the microphone, looki g at Jane as she passed her.

"Hello, There are so many students here that i have taught and some i havent. These young adults have left a mark here and will always be remembered for their outstanding performances.

Josh Maloney, One of the many students accepting an award for outatanding progress."

14 students recieved their awards from Miss Isles placing a small kiss on her cheek.

"And last but not least, Miss Jane Rizzoli" She spoke into the mic with a small smile tugging at her lips.

Jane smirked and stood up approaching Maura. There eyes were locked the whole way. Jane gently tool the award for Maura's hands briefly grazing fingers. Jane smiled at her then gently pulled her close to place a soft kiss on her cheek.

"Thank you" She whispered then stood up straight and returned to her chair.

"Class of 2013" Maura ended her speech then headed back down to her seat.
