Sorry it took me almost two whole weeks to get this chapter up, i have been busy with tings at home, but things are finally getting a little better.

Everyone was busy preparing for the concert at the end of the month. Everyone except for Brian that is – since the day Brian broke his arm, he’s been trying to play with a cast on, but things weren’t working out for him.

Lyric watched as Brian attempted to play the Bat Country solo. These past few days he had discovered just how hard it is to strum when you’re wrist is broken

“God dammit!” She heard him yell for probably the hundredth time that day. Then she watched as he threw his guitar on the floor.

Getting up out of her seat and walking around behind his chair, she gently massaged his shoulders. “Bri, why don’t you take a break and I’ll make us some lunch.

Brian turned his head so he could look at Lyric. Then he quickly kissed her lips before nodding his head as he silently walked over to his guitar.

Lyric left the room so Brian could be alone. She knew that he had been feeling very frustrated with himself about not being able to play. It hurt her to come to his house every day and see him this way, but she tried her very best to lighten his spirits.

After Lyric left the room, Brian picked his guitar up off the floor, putting it on the stand, not caring that one of the strings snapped and the rest were now out of tune – not to mention the neck looked like it was about to break as well.

He then wandered into the kitchen, where he found his girlfriend standing in front of the stove, making sandwiches.

Walking up behind her and putting his hands on her hips, he whispered in her ear, “mmm, babe. How’d you know I liked grilled cheese?”

She flipped each of the sandwiches before turning around, a wide smile on her face. “Val did me the favor of giving me a list of all the foods you eat,” Lyric told him.

‘”Only Val,” Brian chucked, imagining Val secretly writing down all the foods each of them eat to give to their girlfriends.

“Yeah, she’s quite something,” Lyric replied, going back to making the sandwiches.

Sitting at Brian’s kitchen table, the two of them enjoyed their lunch in silence until Lyric softly cleared her throat.

“So… about tour – we leave in like two days, right?” she asked, nervous about sharing a bus with five guys for three months.

“Yup,” he answered, popping the ‘p.’ “But I have a feeling that’s not all you wanted to ask.”

“Well… you think you could give me a small run down of what the next three months will look like? All of this is new to me, and I’m a bit worried,” she confessed.

“Well, we’re leaving Monday, which means we’ll arrive in Camden, New Jersey sometime Wednesday, giving us plenty of time for our first concert, which is on Friday.

“When we’re in the same city or area for a few days, we usually book a few hotel rooms, since it’s better than sleeping on the bus, and if we’re not going too far, what’s the harm in that?

“But anyways, sometimes we have meet and greets on a day that we do have a show, if that’s the case, we have the meet and greet in the morning, by late afternoon we’re doing hair and make-up, and at night we have the concert. When we have meet and greets on days we don’t have a show, we just do that the whole day.
