Lindsay's Point Of View
I arrived twenty minutes late to work than usual. Since I had the boys coming in at twelve meant that I had to be there at half past eleven. Though I arrived a little after noon.
My hair was surely a mess as I only placed it into a messy bun. I didn't have time to do makeup so I came without it. The clothes my body was wearing I grabbed without even looking. The outfit was probably the only good thing about today.
I was wearing tight black leggings with a white lace tank top with my combat boots. Nothing too fancy.
A few employees gave me irritated looks as I rushed in with my papers and coffee. If only they knew the dream I had last night. Correction, nightmare. Hopefully the boys wouldn't be able to tell something was off.
Opening my office door, I saw they were waiting patiently inside. They all turned their attention towards me when the door closed behind me,"I am so sorry I'm late. I had a terrible night." I mumbled on as I set everything down and took a deep breath.
"It's alright," Liam spoke.
Sitting down in my chair, I clicked a few times on my computer before turning my head to face them,"So lets come up with a few ideas. Anything you guys want to do in particular?"
Niall tapped his chin before his eyes lit up indicating he had an idea,"Can we do a Victoria Secret thing?"
I perched my eyebrow up, nodding at him to continue,"Like, mankinis!"
The boys rapidly shook their heads and I chuckled quietly to myself,"Something big, but not that big. Think outside the box, something the fans will go crazy for."
The past hour was spent with very stupid ideas, all usually coming from Niall and Louis. Liam had a few good ones, but they were always bland. I just didn't have the heart to tell him that.
Harry had said they had an interview around four so they would be leaving quite soon to get pampered. Right now we had made zero progress. Working with them would be harder than I thought.
While they talked very loudly to each other trying to come up with other ideas, I scribbled some ideas on a blank piece of paper. Eventually I soon crossed them all out, leaving my mind blank.
Zayn was typing on his phone slowly and it made me wonder why he was cooperating with everyone. If he did they would most likely be out of here by now. Surely most of his ideas were beyond extraordinary.
A ding went off on my computer, signaling I had just received an email. Four of the boys jumped in fright of the noise, but Zayn remained calm like he had expected it to happen.
They continued their banter as I clicked on the message box, seeing it was an email from a username I did not recognize. The message said:
Bad boys. Cars, fences, dirt roads, American flags.
Looking up, Zayn was staring at me intently. I nodded him and clapped my hands together,"He," motioning towards Zayn,"has given an amazing idea. Will you care to share?"
He started to glare at me, then coughed and spoke with a raspy voice,"Dressed like bad guys, or something like that. Have American flags, and lean against a fence with some cars, yeah?" It was the first time I heard him spoke for the past two days. Hearing his voice made chills appear on my arm, but I attempted to cover them up rubbing some warmth into them. His speech sounded a little off, like it's gotten worse over the years.
Everyone nodded in agreement and soon signed a contract about meeting up with me whenever I needed them,"Come back in two days, which is a Friday, and we'll have you boys fitted for clothes. Then in the next two weeks I'll be working on the setting and outfits. By the end of the third week we'll shoot everything and it should be published my the middle of the fourth week." Everything was now coming together and it made me very happy with how things were now progressing.
Standing up, I led them out of my office where they headed off to leave. Zayn, again was the last person to exit, and I stopped him by lightly placing my hand on his shoulder. His head snapped towards me quickly.
I sighed, giving him a little smile,"You should share your ideas more often. They are very good." It looked like he wanted to say something, like it was on the tip of his tongue. But he didn't. Instead he just trudged after his band mates leaving me to wonder what he would've said. I came up empty though, giving up in trying to figure him out.
A frown appeared on my face as I relaxed in my chair once again. The quiet atmosphere in my room felt peaceful. Tomorrow I would take a break, deciding on just scrolling through outfit changes online to give me a better picture about the whole magazine cover.
My hands made a little dance over the keyboard, debating on whether or not I should update Mrs. Boss on how everything was going. But she shouldn't be worried about me, so I stopped myself before I could type anything anymore.
Brian left tomorrow morning, and I was driving him to the airport. The next time I would see him would be when the photo shoot would be going on, so I technically wouldn't be able to see him until everything blew over.
He would probably ask who the male models were and what they were like. And this time, is be honest with him cause thats what he deserved. We were going to get married, and we don't keep secrets from each other.
I, on the other hand, was supposed to leave Saturday morning to fly to the UK to see my mother. Just thinking about seeing my family made me giddy inside and turned my stomach upside down making me feel like I was on a roller coaster. It's been over six months since my last visit.
Shutting my eyes, I thought of everything around me. Maybe I was kidding myself last night. Seeing the way Zayn treated me today, I knew I didn't deserve that. Getting over him would be harder than I thought.
It was a work in progress.

~A/N~
Hey guys! I wrote this right before school so excuse my morning laziness. I have to get up at 6 every morning soooo yeah. I don't even know if I'll be able to update on the weekends anymore because I have soccer games. Usually something always going on..
I saw This Is Us and I was so happy. When Modest! came on the whole audience booed and it made me happy. Larry Stylinson forever bitches. My favorite part was when Harry and Liam talked while fishing, and most definitely when Louis talked about how horrible his audition was. I couldn't contain my laughter, my ribs hurt so bad!
High school is hectic. I'm always rushing from one class to another. In the fall, it's pretty easy since I only have to worry about one sport plus band. And in the winter, one sport. Homework should work well for me. But in the spring? I'm doing three freaking sports and I have no idea how I'll survive. I love every one of them so I can't give them up!
Well, that's about it. I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday and I'm so happy cause he was a DICK. Calling my friends lesbians and bitches? Excuse me? No. Negative. Zip. Zero. Nada.
Anyway, please vote and comment once you've finished this chapter! I would love that!
Also, the first book to this series... My mom said if I get 10,000 reads by October 5th that I'll get to see One Direction in concert. Make my dreams come true?
I love you guys! :*
