Zayn's Point Of View
Our dinner reservations had to be canceled due to the fact that Lindsays arrived to the hotel late. Taking her twenty minutes to freshen up and prepare seemed to last forever.
Perrie, Liam, Harry and I were dragged into one car while the rest had managed to squeeze into another. Annie was doing a great job at keeping Lindsay and I apart. But for now, they don't have to do anything.
I'm sure she won't talk to me for a while; not until I give an explanation of what I was thinking. But how could I bring up such a horrific memory to the both of us? It still hurt me just imagining the events that could have taken place.
Cringing at the scene in my head, I felt Perrie's touch harden on my arm. She was very over reactive in some cases, and this was one of those times.
I wasn't able to sneak a glance at what ever Lindsay was wearing. We were all waiting patiently in the car for her to walk through the doors and pile in her car with Anne and the rest of the crew.
My thoughts wandered to what Lindsay had said on the plane late last night before it landed. I had thought of it before, but I was still unsure about the whole situation.
I knew that Perrie used me for fame, and for my money. I had always thought that she had gotten carried away because of what it felt like to be famous and having the spot light on you. I understood what that felt like.
But Perrie did have feelings for me, right? This wasn't just a repeat of what happened between us four years ago was it? Numerous times I had asked her if she loved me, and her voice seemed to reach an octave higher than her normal tone.
Was she lying? We've been together for two years, and they were very well spent years. I don't regret a thing. But now everything that Lindsay had said made me question those years for the first time.
After the elevator scene early this day, Perrie told me how threatened she felt by Lindsay. And it was beyond me why she thought that. Countless times have I stated to her, and to interviews, that the two of us were only friends. No one seemed to believe my words.
But how could they really when you have different paparrazzi making up different juicy stories to grab fans attention. All this generation cared about what money.
Harry took his phone out of his back pocket, and at the same time mine vibrated in my hand. I had no desire to play it now, not with everything going around me.
Lindsay had texted us, a group message, telling each of us a specific time to arrive to her room tomorrow to fit clothes on. I had almost forgot about the photo shoot; that is the only reason why Lindsay and I started hanging out in the first place anyway.
Harry was supposed to arrive at 5, Louis at 6, Niall at 7, Liam at 8, and myself at 9. Who knew that it would have to take a full hour to get only one outfit done and stitched.
There was a small hope inside of me that she put me last on her list so that we could talk after everything was done and completed. But another part of me also thought it was just how the order had went when she first measured us. And that was only a little bit over a week ago.
