It's been four weeks since the strange encounters that have happened to Caden, nothing seems natural at all anymore. It's as if I'm walking on shards of broken glass with bare feet when I'm around her, I'm so eager to get answers yet she doesn't want to talk. When I try to talk Caden just doesn't respond, she'd give me a glass and then look away or she'd say she's tired and will hide away upstairs to avoid the conversation.

I was sitting in the studio with Lynn, we were writing new songs. I don't see why because we've got enough songs for another two albums. I ran my fingers through my hair as I watched Lynn go over the lines. This song, Lynn and I wrote together for the differences in my relationship, I was against it at first but now I know it was a good idea.

" You see, I want the world to believe
That there's a light inside of me, "

" But it's time that I come clean.
I'm not what I seem, no. "

" Some would say I'm possessed, yeah, but I'll confess I've just been obsessed "

" With life and death and emptiness, I guess. "

" Can't you see all of the change in me? "

We were making up the beat while Lynn started to sing the verse, as soon as she started singing I knew exactly what to play.

The next few hours flew by and before I knew it, I was at home for nine in the morning. People would think we're crazy at waking up at three in the morning to write songs or even an album, but song writers would know that it wasn't crazy at all.

As soon as I got home, I crawled into bed next to Caden. She was sleeping soundly as I carefully wrapped my arm around her, refusing to be the one to wake her up.

Stirring a little, Caden groaned quietly as she buried her face into my chest. "Where were you?" She mumbled, clearly tired and not wanting to wake up.

"I was in the studio with everyone, writing new songs, baby." She smiled softly as the word 'baby' fell from my lips. I missed the mornings like this where everything was normal.

"I love you." Caden opened her eyes to look at me, I smiled and kissed her forehead. "I love you too, but get some more sleep." I said, making her playfully roll her eyes. I closed mine just after Caden closed her own.

When I woke up again, Caden was still asleep next to me. Outside was no longer brighter than what it was supposed to be, I glanced down at my watch to see that the time was nine pm. As if time had flew by faster than what it should have, Caden stirred in her sleep which made me wrap my arm around her again, this made me smile as a small smile appeared on her perfect pale face.

"I need to head back to the studio." I whispered in her ear, a small pout forming on her lips.

"Can I come in later?" Her voice was laced with tiredness and I chuckled lightly. "Of course, baby. When you feel like getting up." I kissed her cheek and watched that same smile form on her lips again.

"I'll see you later." Caden responded before falling back to sleep, I picked out new clothes to wear for today.

The studio was quiet and the vibes to the place were calm, we had been in here for at least an hour. Caden was going to be here any minute, Brian was scrolling through Instagram probably checking photos of Corgi puppies while Lynn was laying on the couch. I on the other hand was tapping my fingers against the wooden desk.

"Alex, tap one more time and so God help me, I will cut your fingers off." I stopped tapping my fingers as I heard the door creek open.

"Hey everyone." I looked over to see Caden all in black, she looked hot though. She always looks hot, I smiled over at her as I stood up from where I was seated and made my way over to her.

"Caden! You made it!" Lynn dragged out the 'i' as she got up and ran towards her, I watched as Lynn pulled Caden into a hug.

I stood to the side as I watched the two hug each other as if they haven't seen each other in so long.

"Yeah, sorry I'm a little late. I decided to walk here." She pulled back breaking the hug with Lynn as she looked at me, giving a smile.

"What are you three working on?" She asked, taking a seat on the chair that was once mine, she reached for the paper that Lynn had been scribbling down on for the past two hours.

"It's not finished!" Lynn screeched, making us all laugh. Caden stood up and made me sit down so she could sit on my lap. "Are you all hungry?" She asked, looking back at Brian and myself.

"Starved." Brian and I said in unison, laughing at our timing. "Geez Lynn, do you not feed the boys?" Caden laughed as well as Lynn.

We all decided to go to a small diner after cleaning up the studio, we were lucky that it was a 24/7 diner or we'd never get food from anywhere. I ordered some pancakes and sausage, Lynn and Brian doing the same while Caden got the pancakes with waffles.

The four of us made little talk as we ate our food, the comfortable silence soothing everything. After everyone was finished eating we all headed back to my house, the darkness making it almost difficult to find the light switch.

Brian helped me get all the blankets and pillows from upstairs to lay them out on the floor downstairs. We'd all sleep together when we would sleep at each other's house.

"I am beat, night guys." Lynn spoke into the darkness getting comfortable in the sheets that we had displayed across the carpeted floors.

After a while light snores were heard from everyone, I closed my eyes and let the darkness consume me.

Lynn's POV

I was awoken by the sounds of small soft moans, the living room was in complete darkness except from the small light peering in the window from the moon.

I looked around and saw Alex still asleep, he looked exhausted. I was more closer to Alex than anyone else, he was like a brother to me and we had been through a lot of things together.

I glanced over to where Brian was sleeping, but it wasn't just Brian there. It was two silhouettes moving around, one on top of the other. A small gasp escaped past my lips and I was quick to cover my mouth and pretend that I was still asleep.

Of course Alex had to be the heavy sleeper out of us all. I covered my ears with my hands as I could hear their grunts and groans, I couldn't believe Brian or Caden. This would kill Alex.

All moans suddenly stopped as Alex shifted, making all three of us freeze.

How was I going to tell Alex without him being upset with me...
