Jason watched the time until the bell finally rang for lunch. Time to see Violet he thought exiting his physics class with a jump in his step but no one seemed to notice.After walking by hundreds of people Jason finally entered the lunch line he look closely at everyone trying to find her but she was no where to be seen.He felt his stomach rumble as an advalanch of hunger came rolling in, he hands tighten on is tray as he walked outside to the commons area he scanned the the pertiemeter and he started facing the facts she isn't here but his hope came back when he saw Cathy,Sammie, and Nate on the other side of the school yard under a oak tree. Sammie laided on Cathy's lap reading a book Nate drawing the scenery around him and Cathy on her phone, but no Violet.

"Hey have you guys seen Violet I need to talk to her."

"She went out to eat with her family like she does every Friday did you forget." Sammie didn't even look up from her book to answer.

"Well I don't hang out with her as much as you guys do."

"Oh Jason. I'm sorry I thought you were Nate."Sammie smiled as she saw him like every other girl he has ever meet, but all of Violet's friends were different the were pretty fun to be with he didn't mind.

"Um I'm right here I've been here for the past 5 minutes. If your going to be like that I Need to find new" he was cut off " I was just kidding jeez take a joke why don't you. Anyway why do you want to talk to Violet I mean you guys haven't talked in over 5 years now why now on this day at this time?"

"You sure ask a lot of questions besides I just wanted to catch up with her," he cough " maybe ask her to go to the party with me." He cough again, but she didn't seem to notice she was deep in her own world he walked to his table and chowed down on his food. The rumble stopped. His friends keep on talking like he wasn't there but he didn't mind all he could think about was Violet the most beautiful, smartest, talented girl he had ever laided eye on and to think this feeling he had, this indescrideable feeling he had when he saw her or even talked to her started on this very day 5 years ago.

The bell rang and everyone headed back to class about 15 minutes later and all he could think about was surprising with Violet at the party, but in till then all he could do was dream about it and that is excatly what he did.
