I woke up in the van driving home I opened my eyes as the van hit a bump and pulling into the driveway. I slowly sat up and regretting it my shoulder throbbed, and ached.

"Honey shes awake."

"What happened." I touched the top of my head where a huge bumped now was.

"Sorry baby I thought it was someone else when I heard you coming in the van. So I kinda hit you in the head with the bottom of my gun." We walked into the house I was against my mother trying not to put a lot of pressure on my leg. After a lot of work we all finally made it upstairs I closed my bedroom door and got into T- shirt and shorts and jump one footed into my bed. I turned my lights off with my remote that controls every thing in my room and turned on some music on my phone. I closed my heavy eyelids and fell asleep trying to stay off my shoulder, thinking about what tomorrow will bring.

I woke a few hours later and couldn't fall back asleep no matter how hard I tried.I didn't know why but I kept thinking about when Jason kissed my in 3rd grade the way his lips fit perfectly on hers the way his eye were wide with excitement when our lips parted and we both opened our eyes and ow he kissed me on the cheek at the party. I thought about him at the warehouse when I was in his arms. I rolled, grabbed my phone, and lightly tapped the on button on the top.It was 3:30 in the dang morning. I unlocked my phone and texted Sam, and of course she answered less than a second later. What you doing.

I'm at home Mike spent the night tonight but I swear nothing happened.

Sure nothing happened. We texted each other until 6 and Sam went back to sleep. I got to be honest for a girl who only got 3 hours of sleep I was wide awake and energizied. Again I tried to fall back to sleep but sleep never came I got out of my comfoy bed and walked carefully to the bathroom.I grabbed my clothes, makeup, and towel and took a long hot shower.

By the time Tate and my parents woke up I was already dressed, and pancakes, eggs, and bacon, even coffee for everyone.

"Good morning baby,"m y mother yawned a big yawn."Yum something smells good."

"Breakfast." I walked over to the set table and placed the food in front of them.I walked almost normally now but still tried to be super careful the stitchs didn't come lose.

"What's the accasion besides the fact that it is your sixteenth birthday?"

"Well since you guys have gotten me everything I've always wanted I wanted to give y'all something is return."

"Oh honey," my mother wrapped her around me and gave me a hug and a big smile the baby bump blocked me from giving her a full hug."Don't worry this will be gone just give it sometime."

"I know mom."

"Sis catch me." Tate jump from the top step I caught him and gave him a big squeze. He gave me a slobery kiss on the cheek."Happy Birthday Sissy."I put him down and he ran to the table helping himself to the food.

"Dig in."

Breakfast was delicous so delicoius I suprised myself.

"Violet why do you look so nice today." he raised his thick bushy eyebrows.

"I'm hanging out with Jason today we are going to do something for my birthday." He choked on his coffee.

"Wait your meeting a boy."

"Dad."

"Hank stop you've never done this before even when Jason stayed the night at our house when she was little and with any other boys shes hung out with."

"This is different.I guess we shouldn't give her the gift outside." I stood up and ran to the living room window and peered outside I saw the green trees in the yard, the flowers growing in the garden then I saw it a cherry red Chevy Camroo. I screamed to the top of my lungs.
"Thank you Thank you Thank you."I ran and gave both parents a giant hug.

"Hey what about me." Tate winied like a baby making his sad puppy eyes.

"Come here bub." We had a family hug.

It was late in the afternoon when I got my lincenes and head to Jason's.I had a deep feeling that today was going to be the best day of my life I could just feel it the sun was high in the sky and no clouds in the sky. I pulled parked across the street and put the car in park.

"Violet."

"Hi Jason." he walked closer to me chills crawled up and down my spin as he placed his hands on my cheeks, and slid them down my arm until he reached my hands.I was still. "Follow me." he said pulling me into the sprinkles in the yard.

"It's so cold." I said loudly laughing so hard my chest hurt.

"I can help with that," he started to run and I ran after him just like when we were kids. We danced in the sprinkles of water he spun me, and dipped me.We stopped dancing. He leaned closer and I did the same, our lips meet.It was so romantic, so perfect that I never wanted it to end.His tongue tickled the inside of my mouth as we kissed he slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around the back of his neck. After what seemed like hours we parted.

"Viy."

"Yes, Jason." He got down on one knee and pulled out a small gold box out of his pocket.

"Will you make me the happiest man in the world and ........ be my girlfriend," he said opening the box inside a soild gold braclet with a heart charm on it that said I love you Violet. Please be mine on it I gasped my heart was beating out of my chest tears filled my eyes. All I could say was.

"Did you steal this."

"No."He laughed queitly to himself and smiled.

"Yes Jason I'll be your girlfriend." He lifted me up into the air and spun me around. We kissed again his lips hungry for mine. We finally stopped and walk onto the driveway where two towels laid and we laid down.I stared at the sky.Can this get any better. I turned and stared at him. He was so gorous.

"Hey Jason."

"Yeah."

"How long have you been in love with me?"

"Since 3rd grade when I kissed you by the way that kiss wasn't an accident."

"It wasn't."

"Nope. I had a huge crush on you back then.Soon that crush turned into love, then longing, but now that I have you I'm never letting go." He paused."Viy I have a question."

"Shoot."

"Do you love me?"

"Of course I do."

"Really." I kissed him lightly on his lips.

"Really."
