"Mom I swear this story gets better each time you tell it."
"Thank honey now come on up to bed now."
"Want to race Taylor."
"Okay who ever wins has to eat the others vegetables for a while mouth."
"Your on and....... Go." They bolted out of the door as fast as their little legs could take them.Jason walked inside the room with a warm smile on his face,grabbed one of the two sleeping children and held them in his arms like he did they day they were born.
"You told the story again."
"Yeah they love it."
"You know your going to have to tell them eventually."
"I know but let them have their childhood I'm not going to ruin their lives  like both of our parents did I not going to put them in danger each night."
"I know Viy," we walked out of the living room and toke Reagan, and Ethan to their rooms, laid them in their beds, covered them up, and gave them kisses on the head as they tossed and turned trying to avoid the kisses but we got them. Finally we headed to the twins bedroom where pillows were being thrown in the air and hit each other. We just watched in amusement smiling and laughing on how we did this as a kid when Jason stayed at my house.
"Come on kids time for bed."
"Okay mom." They jumped into bed the mattress springs making a noise.
"Mom."
"Yes, Lucas."
"Can you and dad sing us a lullaby tonight."
"Please mom."Taylor begged.
"Fine." I sighed.We walked over to their bed and sat down at the ends in their beds,"now kids this lullaby is called Deep in the Meadow." I grabbed my guitar from the corner of the room and sat on Taylor's bed and I stumbed my gutiar.Jason joined in and the kids' eye slowly started to close I played the song.

I could hear the kids' soft snoring as their chest rose and fell steadily. I could see my husband smile a shy smile like after our first kiss in 3rd grade.

"Your amazing Violet you know that."

"I guess but if it comes out of your mouth it must be true right."

"Are you ready for our next bundles of joy."

"You know it as long as I have you I'm ready for anything life throws at me. How do you think I got threw life in California."

"I love you Violet nothing is ever going to change that."

"I know. I love you too." He stood up and kissed me and lifted me of Taylor's bed and carried me to our room and we finally fell asleep in each others arms and dreamed of what the future will bring as a new chapter of our lives was growing inside me for the forth time in my life. I dreamed and never had another nightmare because I knew Jason was always going to be there for me and that was the best thought anyone could ever have and I knew I had my friends and my children to hold onto and never let go. I smiled in my sleep and turned towards Jason and our forehead touched and I could hear his breathing calm, and realxing and I could feel his finger intertine with mine and memories replaced my dreams giving me another reason to smile.
