I sauntered through the new village, taking in the new scenery of my newest stop. The scenery, to be honest, wasn't so beautiful. But it wasn't so terrible either. There were small, irregular houses everywhere. Misplaced from the others. Something about the place seemed familiar... as if I've been here before. But I shake off the feeling. It's probably nothing. I tell myself, and keep walking

As I walked, I noticed a guard tower. It was made of cobblestone, which was very useful. But over the cobblestone grew moss. Loads of it too. I walked on, and kept looking around. At least it's better than the water village. I think to myself as I walk down the wooden walkway.

The village I was at now looked... nice, but not as nice as golden-bricked Areea village. Those people were mean and ruthless. They didn't deserve the pretty golden bricks that lined the village. I mean, my father was the Lord of the village. So, if your father is a mean Lord of a village then of course the village was going to imprint on your father instead of you... right?

But I ran off to guard training when I was twelve, which saved me from getting married to a guy I don't even know. Bad times, bad times. But now I kind of just wander the world. I've been to many interesting villages, and crossed seas to one of the other regions in the world. It was very tropical-based. And, above all, beautiful. Tropical flowers lines the pathways, making you feel like you were one of the locals instead of a visitor.

As I walked around the village I noticed room for a lot of changes. I stopped, again, in front of the cobblestone-moss guard tower. I heard a door open behind me and someone touched my shoulder, "Ma'am?" Came a guy's soft, deep, yet musical, voice. I turned around to see a guy around my age looking at me with kind, pale sea blue eyes. He had messy dirty blond hair (Though it was more like a pale brown) and a welcoming smile on his face.

I instantly liked this guy. He seemed nice.

He also wore a white robe-like garment with armor. The garment seemed to have a black cross over it, he bore a large purple broadsword and a shield. It was made of diamond, but it had the imprint of a griffin over the top of it.

I held a kind smile on my face, and shifted my backpack from one shoulder to the other before speaking. "Hello."

"Sorry to harass you with questions, Miss, but if I may ask: Who are you? What are you? And are you planning on staying?" I blinked at the guard's sudden outburst of questions.

"Um.. I'm Isolde. Though some people call me Iz or Izzy." I tell the guard. "I'm a mere traveler, but I can freely guard this village if wanted. I'm a lu'pine, though I'm not sure how to turn... But anyways.. I'm not sure if I'll be staying, but I probably will to show this small village a bit of TLC." I said, the guard nodded with a grin. "Well. I'd better introduce myself. My name is Griffin, the head guard of this village called GriffinBlaze." He said.

"Griffin? GriffinBlaze?" I said, tilting my head. Griffin shrugged, "My parents wanted to name me after the founder of this village. His name was Griffin. So, that's that." Griffin said, "You said something about trying to restore the looks of the village?" Griffin said, and nodded to the guard station behind me. "Yeah," I said, glancing at the moss-covered building. "I can have a few people help you with everything." Griffin offered.

I smiled with a nod, "That would be much appreciated. Thanks." I said. "No problem."

"...So... What happened to the former lord?" I asked. Griffin's face drooped down instantly. I could see the hurt in his eyes. "Not sure. He went to the Nether one day and never returned." Griffin mumbled. "Oh... sorry about that..." I muttered, and glanced at the ground. "Uh... It's okay.." Griffin mumbled. "It was two years ago. So I'm almost fully over it."  Griffin muttered.

"My my 'mother' went to t he Nether to stop a war of somesort.. she never returned." I gave a forced frowned as I stressed the word mother. Because she wasn't my real mother. My real mother was a lu'pine named Kaya. But... somthing happened to her. Griffin watched me for  a moment before turning his head. "I have to go and guard the village, I'll be near the docks if you need me." He said before turning and walking down the poorly-built cobblestone path. I followed the path in the opposite direction. It led me to what was once a plaza, moss covered the cobblestone ground, the merchant stand (which was made out of wood) seemed to be rotting and was broken down.

And I think I spotted a nest of rats... EW!

This place needs my help. I thought as I took in the rest of the terrible-looking place.
